  1. Maybe they all vanished along with 'trader of the year 05'? lol
  2. Paint, well, 1/4 of a litre would be about £15 - £20 I'd imagine, then there's your hardener and thinners would be another £10 - £15 you'd need to ring round some local non-franchise body-shops for a decent price if you wanted to keep the costs down. Wikipedia guide (click here) for a concise definition.
  3. Yup, Audi all the way IMHO.
  4. PS....you'd need about 1/4 of a litre of paint + thinners/hardners if doing it through a gun with 2k. Aerosols are stupidly uneconomical. Suitable for wheels and small bits of trim only IMHO.
  5. I'd sooner have a faided bonnet than spray my Z with nasty acrylic aerosol paint. Not to mention aerosol reacts more than 2k. IMHO, you're better off saving your cash, prepping the bonnet yourself and taking it to a bodyshop to get the bonnet and tops of the wings blown in. TBH, if you prep it yourself and take it to a bodyshop, you'll not spend much more than you would purchasing 20 odd cans @ £5 a throw to do the bonnet yourself with nasty paint. BUT, if I were you, I'd look at getting a detailer to inject some life back into the bonnet....and then keep on top of it by looking after the paintwork after!! For example....a top detailer I know, got a 968 from this... To this.... Before bonnet... After
  6. I was still correct, neither vehicles went into production. :p:
  7. Admitadly I never knew of this, but the car still and never was, a production car as you suggested. ;) Also, it does not suggest that it was the KV6 either. The 'blown' 1.8 turbo engines made it as far as concept, but neither went into production.
  8. User 'slick pete' used to be able to get them, if not, DTA Motorsport might after taking over Smithys-Place. Last resort would be Z1 Motorsport in the states.
  9. I'd say about £5k. Older ones can go for that. Top conditions Zs you always need to be prepaired to pay a premium. £5k is still dirt cheap IMHO for a car like a Z32 TT in very good unmolestered condition.
  10. It's the same with any sport though...most people are always interested in the native person winning, same with Tennis. Even though Tim Henman isnt that good, he used to get so much coverage. I am happy to hear about Hamilton TBH, it's so nice to see a top F1 guy doing battle on a really serious level. Bit like the old Senna/Mansell days. F1 is back to being exciting again! :duffer:

How do you want to mod it? Enginewise or bodywork wise? IMHO, go for one which has good documented engine work. You'll save some money in the long run. As for bodywork, well that's down the individual. Personally would go for one in the best original condition.
  12. BTW, that fat bloke, that's the world's fattest man. Manuel Uribe, who weighed a wopping 57 stone! Bit like putting a diesel engine in a Z! Useless bit of info for the day.
  13. Trying to make a stupid thread funny....probably failing though!
  14. He'll be doing mine too! Happy Birthday Giles!
  15. I am sure cars are produced quicker than that!!!
  16. Go to Amsterdam and get a whore.
