  1. PS...you're better off trying to measure the centre bore with a measuring caliper.
  2. Yup, offset is 43 and 44 and as I am sure you know, they are usually stamped or embossed on recesses on the mating surfaces. Centrebore is the measurement (diameter) taken from the small central hole on the wheel. That's needed to be known as it's a location point for the hub. If it's too big the wheel will not mount centrally and will put undue stresses on the wheel bolts as there's no lateral support unless you start fitting spigot rings. If the centrebore is too small, then it won't fit on the hub at all
  3. James May did/does. Well, his is a T2, so a decade previous, but I am sure the same still applies! LOL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yax4C1Xvmzg
  4. No? They bloody look it! ;)
  5. Warsash have open days, might be worth going to one of those first. There are two enrolment days in the year, one in September and one in February iirc. So they might be holding an open day soon for next year's intake.
  6. 21 is fine. That's when I did mine. Get in contact with Warsash, they'll also give you a list of shipping companies you can apply for sponsorship through. NB, steer clear of Zodiac Maritime Agencies!
  7. Not really I'm afraid. Not all companies take on mature trainees.
  8. Yes, I've done my officer training. You'd be doing engineering officer training whereas I did deck officer training. What you need to do is apply for sponsorship through a shipping company such as CMA CGM or something as you need to be supported through college, both with equipment and sea-time You then need to apply to nautical college. Warsash down on the solent would be the closest one to you. Although you've already got a lot of experience in what you've got, you'll need to do the full course which is about 3 years. About 40% college, 60% seatime. Lot of hard work involved, very little in the way of pay and long long stints away from home. Might sound appealing, but until you do it, you don't realise who you'll live with the new lifestyle as you'll live/breath work 24/7. Give it a go though. First thing to do is to get in contact with the Warsash campus and get them to send you some course information. There's probably info on the net too. It's a very tough life and nothing can really prepare you for doing it until you actually do it. Some people can get into the life, others won't last 5 minutes. Drop out rate in the first year of the course is about 50%.
  9. LOL Yeah....maybe I'm tempting fate! LOL
  10. He lives near me. He rarely comes on here.
  11. No. I manage the ships you see in the photo. I have nothing to do with the movement of cargo as such.
  12. This is my work PC... Laptop
  13. I'm not asking whether you or I like them...I am asking what on eath they are? ;)
  14. Meh, I left them black. Looks far more menacing. If you're that worried about lighting, get some HIDs. ;)
  15. What on earth have you got stuck inside those? PS, spraying them chrome apparently has zero effect on lighting. It throws the light out, but in the wrong direction.
  16. Did it have a high level spoiler? With a Tommy Kiara (M30Z) front bumper?
  17. parcel2go You'll not get it cheaper.
  18. Isn't it just. By far and away the nicest wide arch Z I've ever seen. :)
  19. I'd go for a modified Kaminari type.
  20. They aren't actually as much as we'd like to believe. lol
  21. I think you're missing the point. Having any numbers of unauthorised people that close to a security controlled environment is always a cause for concern. Anyone remember swampy...when things got out of hand? They could cause an issue if things turn nasty, we've all see how nasty animal rights activists get.
  22. 216s go for precious little anyway, so suggest about the £25 mark!
