No requirement to have one fitted and therefore will not fail the MOT if you decide to have it removed. I don't even think that the rear wash wipe, if fitted, is even a testable part. Bit like reversing lights etc. Personally, I'd not take it off as you're left with redundant switch gear and makes the car look a little 'poverty spec' without, but that's up to you.

New Zealand is relatively easy. There's a shortage of skilled and professional workers. Get in touch with a few recruitment agencies out there. I got a few job offers thrown at me when I started looking. Best off looking at either Christchurch (South Island) or Auckland (North Island) which is where you'll find most of the work and the agencies. You were/are in engineering iirc, these guys might be able to assist. http://www.crsrecruit.co.nz & http://www.trs.co.nz Once you have a role/offer I think that the company will then sponsor you for a visa and work permit.

Get into technical sales/consultation. Work for one of the companies who manufacture the tools you use.

Looks like it's melted in the sun and been picked up. I bet 90% of the spoilers made for Zs don't aid downforce as none of them are ever put through extensive wind tunnel testing.
