  1. That is disgusting and looks like it was hewn from a solid sheet of MDF/styrofoam. Designed by Stevie wonder and a magic ruler. I made better model cars when I was at school!
  2. Yup, Luke does offer good service. Only bought a few things from him, but both times, he was spot on.
  3. Chavs have been doing that for years! Nothing new, but hilarious video!
  4. Seconded!...or rather 'Daymn'!
  5. IIRC, pre-tensioner is not related to the airbag system as they are mechanical. I might be wrong. Pre-tensioners can fail on those and fire. Noticable by a yellow tab which appears below the seat belt mech. Quite often the slip rings fail. I had 2 go on my Astra. They are a wound wire coil which sits behind the steering wheel. Looks like a thin black dohnut. Tech2 is the only way to reset these even if you do replace the slip ring, the code will still be there and the airbag light will remain on.
  6. I remember the day this was taken, that temperatures soared to 121 degrees which is about 50 degrees!! Incredible heat. I have a photo of the temp gauge in the rental car I had that read 100 degrees at 8.30am!!!!!!!
  7. 1st one looks good. Price is what I am after too. I'd like the bigger screen, but not sure that I'd need it.
  8. I need it for work though mate. If I have appointments here there and everywhere and not knowing exactly where they are, then I'm stumped. Last thing I want to do is be late, or worry about not finding it. I know what you mean, but relying on an Atlas when there's GPS isn't the way to be for me as much as I'd rather just stick to maps.
  9. Thanks Allan. I've still gotta send some money for those clocks! Been away for a while. Cheers Mario/Vinni
  10. Looking at buying a Tom-Tom or something as I am going to be doing quite a bit of travelling soon. Always relied on maps before as I feel more accomplished when I arrive at where I intended to be and never bothered with GPS; but for time and accuracy sake, I think it's in my best interests to get one. Just wondering what everyone uses. Not looking at spending a lot, £150 maybe? Would like one that I could get the speed cameras on (aware they are subscription only). Cheers
  11. Hahahahahaha! Sounded funny when you told me all about it today mate. LOL @ all the dummy exhausts. What a croque!
  12. Oh dear God. Some people seriously need help. Those wheels are pure comedy.
  13. I would like to have gone to it, but unfortunately I was mid-way over the North Atlantic at the time. :)
  14. Like a dick in a bucket or similar to shagging a storm drain?
  15. It is tiring looking after one though, although I am a bit anal with mine. It'll be off the road for the winter anyway (as usual). Want the bumpers repainted as I'm not happy with them, have a scuff on one of the wheels that wants doing, plus I want to do leather this year as well, ontop of that, a complete suspension overhaul. It's a long way from how I want. :(
  16. Takes ages to drive anywhere in Sardinia and Corsica due to the landscape. Actually, in Corsica, it takes ages by train as well. Some 3 hours worth getting from Bastia, which is in the North to Ajaccio in the south. But the train rides are quite good fun, not only because the scenery is spectacular, but you get to see all the cars that have come off the roads, which end up half way down the sides of mountains!
  17. San Diego is far from a dump and is well known for being one of the nicest parts of the US. LA is. But I wasn't there. Sooner be there than watching people jumping around in giant Snow White costumes. ;)
  18. Not really, I've just spent nearly 3 weeks in California.
  19. ....and a hacksaw and loads of filler to make it look nice. lol ;)
  20. IIRC, he was some gaybo from Big Brother who now does those crappy late night TV game show things on ITV. That's an amusing quote.
  21. So if you haven't seen any? Why post up a thread in a 'was it you' if you obviously haven't seen anyone? :wack:
  22. I keep trying to squash a fly on my monitor that's not actually there...
