The day I picked up my Z I managed to fishtail in it and nearly hit the central reservation. My bum hole was working on overboost! Again, a very very wet day, following a Fiesta full of old croaks (always seems to be Fiestas doesn't it! LOL) Pulled out of a roundabout onto a dual carriage way, I was making a point of being careful with the throttle....although not careful enough and the car started to go sideways. Corrected and it went the otherway, but managed to gently bring it under control. Another reason I don't drive it in the wet, because I hate driving it the wet.

Clarkson did do a review on the 300zx when it was new, but it's never been copied and uploaded to youtube or anything. Might be worth getting in touch with BBC.

Yes, as we all know, funkysi has complete and utter dis-interest in Christmas. Since we've also had such a lame summer, thinking about getting away for a few weeks over xmas. Possibly UAE, although probably would not stay in Dubai as I know of a little place down the coast called Khor Fakkan which I stayed at a few years ago. Very very quiet, but very nice. Flights are devilishly cheap at the moment for that period which is quite surprising. Anyone else been to the UAE over Xmas at all? Anyone going away this Christmas?

For that tiny thing of a slight advantage on hard launch you'll sacrifice the loss of being able to select your own gears and downshift whenever you want to? Although you want to have a shift at will kit, it's not a real substitute for having a clutch and gear lever. Not to mention, manuals 'sound' better. When you hear an auto shifting, it doesn't sound anywhere near as good as when a manual is shifting. If you know what I mean.

Sorry to hear that mate. As above!!! Manual box, you'll enjoy the car a lot more. For the hassle and ball ache of taking out, reconditioning or replacing auto box, you may as well fit a manual. Not just that, but it'll add saleability and a little value to it too.

Good move on wanting to replace that rear bumper. I think a Kaminari rear bumper would suit yours, altough I think I'd fit Stillen Side skirts to it to give it a cleaner more slick look. Kaminari rear.... Stillen rear and skirts... Another shot of the sides...

Great ride height on that one. Gotta get mine lowered!!! Wheels actually look pretty cool on that. Not seen those Super Advans on relatively stock bodies and it looks very retro-cool.

So many Zs got written off last winter it was unreal. Mine will be off the road soon for the winter.
