They are best for adding shine to good condition rims. They are not abrasive like autosol which you'd use on very lightly corroded rims. Brilliant takes off any cloudiness and will be ideal for keeping your newly refurbished rims in tip top condition. :) I used a bit of autosol on mine, but finish off with Brilliant.

Have you used it yet? It's better on bare alloy than it is on stainless. Stainless needs autosol as it's a harder metal.

I like. 2tone works so well on Zs. :)

Do you reconize these wheels?
Very nice. :D

Im liking this.
Front end reminds me of a hammerhead shark. Although I am not a fan of the Supra's styling, I'd have left the original headlights on it. But the rest I'd not touch as it does look good. As always though, the Supra dashboard is one of the ugliest I've ever seen. Scania dash.

How cool is Elton John?
No, not at all. My Mum likes him. He is a British Institution I'll agree. He wouldn't be so recognised across the globe if he wasn't. As far as voices go, my favourite would probably be Morrisey.

Ok, 15+ years go. His late 80s and early 90s tunes are listenable.

He was ok 10+ years ago. His recent stuff though is pretty dismal.

You can buy it from them direct. It's a very thin fluid. Best applied with a fingertip sponge mitt, rub it in and then buff off with a soft cloth. Use it sparingly as a little goes a long way. You need the 'Aluminium & stainless steel polish' http://www.briliant.biz/moreinformation.asp?CategoryId=1&ProductId=4

I always go at the rims with Brilliant afterwards. Find autosol a bit too abrasive on alloy to leave it at just that. I always top up with Brilliant. Makes for a nice finish. Good stuff and I recommend it.

Indeed. As you've said, you'd need to key the metal to get the paint to bond to it. By spraying it on to a polished surface, you'll have a very think layer underneath where water/condensation can leach in between the two materials. You get that spider webbing effect, the rims then corrode, the lacquer flakes off and it looks a right bloody mess. You can get various chemicals to seal the polished metal. I think you can get a product called 'Metal Mate' which is a weather resistant fluid you can wipe into the metal giving it protection from the elements.

Mario, do NOT get polished wheels lacquered. Causes more problems. Keep them clean and polished regularly and you'll only notice very slight dulling. I used a fantastic product for keeping shine on my rims and that's 'Brilliant' polish. When I'm using my car I'll polish my rims once a month with Autosol which is quite abrasive, but then I use the Brilliant polish to remove the very fine swirls and buff up to a really deep shine.

Anyone tried fitting a Primera wiper arm yet?
They are not that expensive when they go wrong. If the fluid is checked then it should be pretty good. Accumulators and spheres are so cheap now. Cheaper than replacing a set of tired shocks in a conventional car. I find the suspension quite amusing. I bought a crappy old Citroen BX TZD for £75 about 5 years ago as a daily hack to commute over the Mendips every day. Lasted well. But decided to replace it as it had some strange coolant problems. Before I blew the engine up in spectacular fashion, I'd go speed hump jumping. No need to go fast, 20mph is good, set the suspension on hard (up fully) and drive straight at speed-humps. Used to bounce and jump up in the air. Was really funny.

They have the same floorpan Dave from memory, all the suspension/arms/rods/rack are completely different. Chassis rails are different to accommodate this.

No. But doesn't mean to say I don't like dump valves though. ;)

I've seen it from the 3/4 rear shot before and I do like it. It's the Veilside fronts that I've just never been able to work out. Not sure if yours has one, but from the rear 3/4 shot it looks clean and slick.

Rear diffuser for z
They have made their mockup now. It looks ok, but not as dramatic as the one you posed...which was just a 'chop.

I would like to drive one actually. One of Citroen's saving graces were the ride..well in some of them anyway. My ZX 16v was fantastic. Basically the same as the 306 GTi-6. Great fun to drive. Was very responsive and very chuckable. Passive rear wheel steering which work in a similar to way scateboard trucks. lol

Doesn't have adaptive damping in it? Like an early version of it?
