  1. I am, but I still have a list of things to keep me going. Over the winter, some of my plans are as follows. AIV delete Recirc valve cleanout CTS to be replaced O2 sensors to be replaced AndyP/JD chip to be fitted Boost controller Gloss-black painted roof bars 4 way amp for the speakers (yet to be purchased) Fit my current amp and sub Light tint on the rear screen White LED dash conversion, courtesy of groover-industries New windscreen scuttle panel To get rid of any last annoying squeeks and rattles (an ever going challange with the Z) Engine dress-up (subtle).
  2. I'm ripping out all my AIVs too over the winter. :)
  3. ....I've also still got my cats on too and a buggered o2 sensor, soon to be replaced.
  4. It shouldn't. EGR valves were only really fitted for US federal regulations. Some states subject their cars to yearly smog-checks....bit like our emissions test, but a little different in how they test. I've had my EGR deleted and it had no problems. Well within UK emissions regs.
  5. I'd go all the way if you want to get that vent. Get the matching nose panel to go with the bonnet otherwise it doesn't match. If you were to go the non-vented route, then I'd go for a vented nose panel like this. I'm not the biggest fan of aftermarket fascias as I find they never match the car, but this seems to work pretty well. This looks better than the wings-west bumper as it doesn't flare out at the lower section like a pair of bell-bottoms. ...but you really need to put those headlight things up on ebay! lol :)
  6. Actually, scrub that comment about the skirts. The C2 are quite nice.
  7. No, please please not those egg-cup headlights! One of theeeee ugliest aftermarket parts you can get for the Z. :hurl: You didn't already buy that set of Pete did you? LOL Relocated/off-centre reg plates look poop. The bonnet would look best if you got the raised nose-panel to match. One of the few bonnet vents I like if done that way. Rest looks good, **EDIT** Glad you're getting rid of that front bumper!
  8. LOL! If only it was that easy! Actually, I'm always trying to stick up for this country and how fortunate we are....if you read my posts. :)
  9. ...just noticed...the silver one has a Z badge on it which is shouldn't have. Anyway, the comment still stands. Only the JDM cars came with the Z badge from the factory.
  10. Well, looking at it, I'd say it was Canadian spec. (similar to US Spec, but with wash jets for the headlights). All North American Z32s came with the Nissan Hamburger emblem apart from some of the early ones which just had a completely smooth badgeless nose panel.
  11. I know that which is why I spent nearly about a grand on new suspension. :) Different driving characteristics driving an NA to a TT which is why I've always seen the appeal in NAs. I'm not and never have been a TT snob. I think the NA is a better drivers' car for things like driving in the wet and on the track.....BUT, I love it when you catch the TT just right as it spools up and you get that amazing whoosh of boost.
  12. But they don't, if you look at the 'tash, it goes past the indicators and follows the recess around.
  13. BOTH! Salt and shite are the main thing. I just don't enjoy driving in the rain. Who does? You can't use the car to its potential.
  14. No it's not. The day I picked the thing up it was pouring with rain. I remember driving onto the M25 and as I was getting on to the roundabout underneath it, I was sat behind a Fiesta (probably driven by Indian_ZX ;) ) dawdling along, went into the outside line and just dabbed the accelerator and whop, the back end breaks free. My bum hole was pulsating as I fishtailed up the road. Luckily I corrected and all was OK, but it ain’t a good car for driving in the wet!
  15. We loaded it up! The pedal was flat to the floor for almost 6 hrs! There is that. It's been very reliable! I haven't had it rested up with no engine or anything for ages.
  16. I did a little guide in another thread..... USDM JDM Style one (without running light) JDM Style two (with running light and different defuser patern....note larger running light section to other JDM style) UKDM
  17. UK corner markers are smoked.
  18. The one I drove had NO turbo and NO PAS. A pure travesty of motoring!
  19. Sure is a bad time. The weather was shit this year. The only time I got to drive and enjoy it was in June when I took it to France. Ever since, it's been grey and raining!
  20. I've had mine 3 years now. Probably the longest I've ever kept a car. I've enjoyed building to what it is now and don't regret it. But I dunno.....I think I just need to drive it more. You can't really do that too well on UK roads as they're either overcrowded with traffic jams or are pot-holed! Not going to be getting rid. I just need to get connected with it again.
  21. Yeah, I'd go with either, but I'd have to get UK indicators for them. Well, they are actually blanks, but you can cut out the holes and fit the connectors to them.
  22. No and no and no again. I'd buy an NA for the track and would make sure it was a used and abused example that I would mind having dings and dents on it. Far more predictable power. Whilst I love the TT on the open roads, on the track, I'd have a stripped out NA.
