Hey Santa Claus You C**t........
Dunno, but I've never found Kevin Bloody Wilson funny. It's a song with swear words. Not really my type of humour. As far as funny songs go, give me a good Monty Python song any day!

Most comfortable car seats ever....
Thought UK cars came with heated seats as stock Richard.

Feeling a bit better about Eliza tonight
Don't ever bother with lacquier on bare alloy in the UK climate. You can protect bare alloy and keep in polished, but lacquering bare alloy is as bad as throwing salt all over them. Lacquer won't bond to the alloy as it's not keyed or primed. Once you get a chip or a low-spot, moisture gets in and spider webs all over the place. Once that's happened, it's full refurb time. It doesn't take too long for that to happen. If anyone's noticed, any of the Ford or VW factory alloys with diamond cut faces on them all start to corrode within a year. Chroming is better and was an option on Z32s in the US. But over time, the chrome will still flake off.

Put a Zed Vid on Youtube
A European supercar? WTF?? "I wanted to build a car that looked like it came out of the factory, not a modified car". Well, you've created the exact opposite! Not sure why he had the front arches rolled and 'flatted' as there is a huge gap between the wheel and arch lip. The offset and camber are way off. Not my thing at all. Rear lights are grim, spoiler, silly vent on the roof, viper stripes. All look really garish. The rear 'tub' looks like it's been half-inched from a Sunseeker 45. I do like the colour and side skirts a lot though. The engine very nice.

I think what Dave is trying to say is that it looks near impossible (unless you're double jointed) to pull up the handbrake to that angle unless you're sat in the boot. lol

LOL. His e-brake is looking rather 'phallic'.

Braking capabilitys - Zed Vs Merc Vito - A Warning for all!
What makes me laugh is that the government are still using stopping distance figures taken from testing of a Ford Anglia about 40 years ago! A car with no servo assistance, a car with drum brakes all round. A car with stone age technology. I went to a speed-choice workshop about 4 years ago and I brought all this up when they started quoting braking distances etc. Do you want to know what their 'educated' response was? "Well, cars are much heavier now, so whilst brakes have been improved, overall braking distance have remained almost the same". Utter *****cks. I didn't carry on with my argument as I know full well how much BETTER a new fiesta is a braking over a 40 year dinosaur!

It's a bloke (of German descendants) with his penile organ inserted into the exhaust pipe of a 1989 Range Rover Vogue whilst wearing women's lingerie. :smw:

Steering column/wheel wiring help.
Well, I think some of the wiring may be removed. That's the issue. I didn't take anything out at all. So don't know what I am looking at at the steering wheel end.

Guess who's got a hot date tonight!
- Steering column/wheel wiring help.
Yes, that's possible.- Steering column/wheel wiring help.
Moving them won't be a problem. I just need to know which wires under the column are for the CC switch panel.- Steering column/wheel wiring help.
I use CC all the time on my other car. When I am on the motorway, it cuts down on stress! LOL To get anywhere from where I live, you need to use the motorway.- Steering column/wheel wiring help.
Maybe. But that's out of the driver's sight.- Steering column/wheel wiring help.
I am planning on siting them just below the dash binnicle on the left hand side. I will cut a half shape out of the top of the lower trim panel. It'll be recessed slightly. Want a 'factory-look'. Little bit hard to discribe without photos.- Steering column/wheel wiring help.
Can anyone help with this? Really want to know what I am looking for. What wires I need for the button pad.- 99 spec rear lights?
I will (eventually) convert mine to SMD LED technology.- Feeling a bit better about Eliza tonight
I am sure Jeff can have a look at the paint. IIRC, they use a good recommended bodyshop. Be good to see you on here a little more Dave and hope you get the car sorted. :) - Steering column/wheel wiring help.
