Steering column/wheel wiring help.
The CC ECU is still in situ, albeit, unplugged. If I replug that in, then I am sure I only need the wires from ECU to putton pad?

Filter selection
I am at the point where I want to buy a few more bits for my boost increase early next year. I have new 02 sensors, TPS and CTS. Just need to fit the o2 sensors. Other than that, the car engine is running very well and ConZult is showing me that just one of the O2 sensors is out of range, but I'll be fitting 2, altong with new CTS. TPS has now been set up as that wouldn't respond in adjustion to voltage reading. New NGKs are on the way. I am wanting to make sure the engine is running 101% via conZult (and emissions test) before I even think about changing the chip and upping the boost. Once this is done, I want to upgrate the filters. Now, aim to fit a chip and boost controller and will be running 14PSi MAX. What's the ideal filter for this. I'd like an Apexi Power intake as they seem to be the filter of choice. Would a single filter be adequte for that power or would I need a dual? I'm not intending on upgrading further, so don't really need to fit things that may be overkill for me.

Christmas Meet
Let's all go to a strip joint. I might enjoy Christmas if it was full of women with Santa hats on and Mince pies covering their nipples.

battery boosters 20 quid in maplins!
Why didn't you fit the bosch battery and jump it from the Fiesta battery to charge it?

battery boosters 20 quid in maplins!
How is a battery booster solving your 'battery constantly dying' problem?

intermittent boost strong with little throttle though ??
Doesn't hurt to clean the connectors out, no.

intermittent boost strong with little throttle though ??
They'd have still fitted, but I think you may have gotten detonation as the plug gappings are different.

my new wheels
Pay a little more and order the one with the brake-light in it. Looks better. :)

What aftermarket guages do have?
Only gauges I'd ever consider fitting would be DIN gauges.

intermittent boost strong with little throttle though ??
Ops. That's for the non-turbo, Z31 engine too. Think you've ordered the wrong plugs there mate.

petrol instead of coolant
- intermittent boost strong with little throttle though ??
What model number though? There are various types to suit different engines/performance.- intermittent boost strong with little throttle though ??
What plugs did you order?- my new wheels
Then if you have excessive negative camber, it'll be worn upper links or saggy springs.- intermittent boost strong with little throttle though ??
I don't know. I think the car would be struggling to idle if the plugs were bad enough to knock it into safety mode. But you'd probably get a DET sensor code for that. DET sensors are a bit of a bitch to do. It's usually the loom that gives up rather than the sensor itself. MAF is Mass airflow meter. Diagnostics should give you an idea of what might be working incorrectly. I'd start there first before you start buying loads of things you may not need.- intermittent boost strong with little throttle though ??
This should get you started. http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html- my new wheels
Are you running standard suspension? I did notice your camber was quite negative. You can't adjust the camber on stock set-up. The TBL, you really need to go through Zcentre and collect direct (Nottingham). They do NOT travel well. Still can't understand why Nissan ever made them from perspex and not polycarbonate.- intermittent boost strong with little throttle though ??
7PSi is safety boost. Could be a number of things causing that. DET sensor, maf, or boost leak. Although a boost leak wouldn't show up as an error on the ECU diagnostics. Do you know how to read the codes from the ECU?- my new wheels
Third brake light. IE, the perspex strip along the bootlid. It's missing. BTW, I'm running +20 effective on an 8.5" wide rim. Photo here showns when I was running +25 effective (before I fitted larger spacers). You can see that the clearance between arch and outter part of wheel is minimal. Looks much better since I took this pic. So, in theory, your front wheel, if it was +20 would be flush with the wing.- my new wheels
There's no way your fronts are +20 offset unless they are like 7" wide. lol Anyway, look loads better. :) What happened to your TBL?- what tyres best?
That's tyre size, not wheel size. What width are you wheels? That will dictacte what width tyre you can go for. Do you want to know what brand is the best or what is the ideal tyre size for your current rim?- VIRGIN +1 right now!! Strangelove Men & Motors
I know. :)- Happy Birthday Steve Burns
;) Have a good-un Steve. :duffer:- VIRGIN +1 right now!! Strangelove Men & Motors
I do. There's a big difference between change and taste. ;) Changing things just to be different is willy waving. - intermittent boost strong with little throttle though ??
