You could check yourself (which I am sure you may have done). It's often the tension rod bushes that fail at the front which are the cause of brake judder. You can see them without jacking the car up. Just turn the steering wheel to each lock and have a look to see if they are leaking/cracked.

I try and do this on a regular occasion. I got into a habit of it as I had a very slightly leaky valve on my Z before replacing the tyres. The valve seal on the inner part of the rim had perished slightly. I check my Leon on a weekly basis as I cover quite a lot of mileage in it. Luckily my local Waitrose has 'free air' at its petrol station, so I don't keep having to remember to keep a 20p coin with me all the time for the theiving arse holes aka Motorway Service stations....who even charge you to fill your washer bottle! Makes the car feel far more responsive and 'sharp' with correct pressures.

Think you really need to hook it up to ConZult. Could be something to do with your TPS setting if you've only noticed this after an idle fault. Have you checked the ECU for codes?

I wasn't refering to you. I've driven plenty of RSTs and they have to be quite heavily modified before they feel as quick as a Z32TT. They can be very punchy, but just can't make up the feel of the long hard pull of a VG30DETT.

Stock for stock, the 300zx TT has quicker acceleration, higher top speed and nearly 100bhp more than an Escos or Sapphire Cosworth. As for the RS turbo being quicker? PMSL! :rofl: stock RST only pumps out about 130bhp. Astra GTE 16v as quicker, has more power and a higher terminal speed. I like RSTs (both Fiestas and Escorts....series 1 especially), but as a stock car, they are dreadfully slow and have no PAS. (even as an option)

Sounds like you have answered your own question Murt? Maybe the MAF connector is dirty/damaged and/or maybe the MAF is breaking down.

No, it switches it off. HICAS won't operate. You'll see the HICAS warning light on the dash indicating it as being disabled.

Just unplug it. Takes all of 2 and a half seconds. Open the bonnet and remove the connector ontop of the HICAS control unit.

I don't really have a preference. I know some can be bias toward situations or events, but as long as the facts are there. The Times is a paper I've bought in the past as well as the Independant.

I rarely buy newspapers. Have the internet for up-to-date news. I don't feel a point in me buying a paper. I have access to up-to-the minute news through my blackberry or laptop. There are some interesting articles and write-ups in newspapers though. But, I do steer clear of tabloid newspapers. I don't think I've ever bothered buying a copy of something like 'The Sun' or 'News of The World' or whatever. Find them rather trashy. If I wanted a comic, I'd buy the Beano, if I wanted naked women, I'd buy Club International....or just download it free from t'internet. Broadsheet only for me.
