Airbag removal
In the UK, if it's fitted, it has to be working as far as MOT regs go. You can remove ABS and airbags, but you need to remove the complete system otherwise it'll fail on it not working. It will invalidate the insurance. I think what he wants to do is remove the steering wheel so he can retrim it in the house and refit after.

a bad idea?
You need to tell us the basics first. What year is it What model is it What mileage does it have Is it modified What condition is it in Where are you going to sell it (ebay, piston heads, here, etc etc)

More sad news for the car industry. Steve, I hope your job is safe mate. :( http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/wear/7818043.stm

Bigger Brakes and ABS
 that's the funniest thing I've read all week. If you didn't have it, you may have skidded and lost control causing a larger accident.

Nissan 300ZX or Audi R8?
I quite like the R8. True, can't really compare it to a Z or to a TT, although it bares a striking resemblance to the TT. It's not an imaginative choice though and they are overpriced. The new V10 one that's coming out is as expensive as a nearly-new Gallardo which I'd MUCH rather have. The thing I really hate about new Audis though are those horrid LED running lights. The person at Audi who thought that this would be a 'quality' and 'nice' look should be shot. The new A4 looks ugly from the back and if you're unlucky enough to see a white or silver one from the rear, it looks just like a harlequin baby. Shame, as the previous model was probably their nicest looking saloon car.

Gauge Location
That's the best idea IMO. If I was going for aftermarket gauges, then it would be DIN slot or nothing at all.

The best looking zeds of all time?
They were afterburner style from Z centre. The new owner fitted 99-spec rear lights which look 10x better. Andy, I have no idea what size they are. I'd imagine they are 19x 9.5 and 19 x 10.5 with an extreme offset.

Sad Loss of a True Z Enthusiast
Unfortunately, I never had the pleasure, but it's always sad to hear of someone passing away, especially someone with the same Z passion. RIP Colin and my thoughts are with Leslie and your family.

She probably has plastic on the seats and wears rubber pants Stu.

I've never seen the appeal of them visually, but they are amazing peices of kit. I loved the one I went out in. Awesome peice of kit. I'm sure there are plenty of chavs that own and still own Z32s, so it's not that much of a kick in the teeth is it?

Carbon Fibre Auto Selector
It is for something that looks like that. Seriously though, that's a reasonable price. Genuine Navan shifters would be twice the price I think.

Gtr
Wonder if that's her Rodius infront. It looks a bit like her.

The most "inconspicious" wide body kit?
No, I haven't been snowboarding, but I've driven through the Austrian Tyrol. I was driving my own car from the UK through the Hungary (Not the Z).

ferrari california
The older stuff is the best looking IMO. Find the F50 and Enzo really garish. Mind you, the F40 was somewhat brash when it was brought out. Maybe the car will mature. These are my 'Best looking Ferraris' IMO. :) (Just a shame that you see more horrid MR2 Replica versions than 'real' ones) F355 F40 250 GTO 456 Daytona Spyder California Spyder 288GTO
