  1. The above are Lexus specific, not the universal-fit bosch ones with the huge knuckle in the middle.. ;)
  2. Maybe if it was all one colour (yes I know they are CF panels...and they look ass) and didn't have that nasty rear spoiler. Wide arch kit and wheels look good. Engine conversion looks amazing, although I personally would have twin turbo charged the V6 engine. Mind you, it would be kinda cool to see a '260Z' badge on the back of it. :)
  3. Thanks, but not what I am looking for. I want Lexus OEM specific. They just look like the Bosch aero type blades.
  4. Needing some wiper blades from the new Lexus IS model. I have a feeling that Lexus may ask for a VIN or reg mark. Just wondering if anyone works in a Lexus or Toyota dealership and would be able to get round that system. Thanks.
  5. I want to get these. :) Wipers from the new Lexus IS. :)
  6. 21" is the replacement fit, but 22" fit also.
  7. Crikey! Nissan President. That is rare.
  8. You'll be waiting a very very very very very long time. ;) They were never available in the UK in pearl white. The only pearl colour ever available over here was pearl yellow for a very very short while.
  9. IMO, I don't see any issues with JDM cars. People are starting to steer away from UK cars because generally, most are rotten with high miles. There are a few good tidy examples on here, but not many. I've never seen the taboo in them. I don't find them anymore expensive to insure, or harder to get parts for and JDM cars are becoming a lot more sellable because there are more around that don't have rot or high miles. Sure, many cars that have been imported have had their clocks fiddled with, but you can tell the ones that have and those that haven't. I personally wouldn’t buy a UK unless it was absolutely pristine. I would love to find an immaculate low mileage UK car though. :) Pearl yellow UK cars are almost non-existent. I did see one up on ebay about 2 years ago and I think that was one of the few I saw.
  10. Might be interesting to note, that the cheapest TT manual on Autotrader at the moment is just under £4k, which is pretty much stock.
  11. There's more than just that. Yes the headlight washers, but also the corner indicators, the, the TT wheels, the foglights. It's deffo a UK car in the picture. I bet the one that's on sale isn't that great. Faided tweed, worn steering wheel, bolt tyres and rotten spoiler are probably the name of the game. It might be nice, but I highly doubt it.
  12. 2+2 TTs were never available on the US domestic market. All their versions are NA only. The JDM 2+2 TTs are quite sought after in the US. They seem to like the RHD and the fact that they are 2+2TTs. With importing into the US getting very tough now, it makes them a sought after car. The slicktop TT even more so as all their slicktops were NA. SWB NA made up the majority of sales in the US when launched.
  13. NA Autos have been selling for under £1k for a few years now. I bet up-close that car's pretty tatty. I've seen Z32s which are said to be 'tidy', but on closer inspection have look rather tired. Also, I bet the car advertised isn't the car pictured. The car pictured looks like a UK car (TT).
  14. Get your camber sorted first before you buy spacers. :)
  15. LOL! ROASTED Fairlady and chips please! Yummie. Needs beans all over it though!
  16. If I use SMD LEDs with a membrane or resin on top then a translucent film on top again, there shouldn't be issue with any shorting? I can select 2 of the brightest LED outputs for this purpose. The only issue then is heat. High power LEDs can product it if there are many of them sat close together. Regarding the reflector, on stock rear lights, some light does get through them, so I'd want 1 complete PCB on the top section with a key cut in it so that the screw from the base and support will slot around it...if you catch my meaning.
  17. Thanks mate. Interesting. That is at its deepest point though right? What sort of clearance is there around the curved edges of the corners? Is there still that sort of spare between defuser and backing? On that basis, there should be plenty of room for a regular sized PCB thickness of around 1.6mm and then some to spare for the SMD LEDs and possibly even a heat sync. I need to try and locate a manufacturer who may be able to supply either a mirror or chrome type translucent film that I can put betweenED and defuser to keep the original look.
  18. That was with some sort of a discount too! Yes, it is nice. Subtle and inkeeping.
  19. Gutted for you mate. :( Good thing you're ok though. :D
  20. Gotta remember chaps, springs sag over time.
  21. Christ, Uno is somewhat of a bad omen. ;) Sorry to see that mate. I think breaking it would make the most of your return. Selling it as scrap would be quite hard and you'd not get a whole lot for it.
  22. Wouldn't go for either. Whilst both good lookers and amazing performers, they just don't give me the 'wow' factor. I really like the S4, but something pushes me toward and M5. I'd rather have an old 840 manual and fit a supercharger to it. :)
  23. Erh? Doesn't do you any favours yet you want an NA slicktop? May as well keep yours.
  24. Needs a bit of camber adjustment as well as front spacers.
