  1. Have absolutely none on mine what so ever and I intend on keeping it that way. The underneath looks like new. :D
  2. I've seen rotten ones before, but never that bad. At what point wouldn't it just be better to re-shell!
  3. The Mk4 Golf is as bland as a cupcake and the first Focus, whilst being a decent car has oddball looks and a minging dash. I've driven both and they are both competant cars though. I know you don't like Vauxhalls, but I'd rather have a MK4 Astra over either. As a first car though, I'd be tempted to go for something that's cheaper to insure and more reliable like a Mazda 323. No more bland than the Golf or, but amazing reliability, cheaper insurance and generally a better spec. The MK2 323F is dirt cheap now. I've always kinda liked this shape. Better looking than the Golf or Focus.
  4. Renault Modus Ourlass special edition. 950cc Autospastic.
  5. You are correct chayden. Since writing your post, Sterling is further down. Dollar is now worth $1.37 against £1. Worst value I can remember for years and years.
  6. Talking of auxiliary heating, I am surprised more cars didn't come with this, especially diesels. The length of time it takes for a diesel engine to warm up to the point where you can blast yourself with warm air seems to take an eternity in the winter. Don't know why more cars don't come with thermostatically controlled ceramic heating elements. HICAS was actually an early form of ESP...although I am sure Frogmella wart owning chav wouldn't have a clue!
  7. Did you just buy it? Admit it, YOU DID! lol
  8. Might sounds a silly question, but is it black Richard? Where did you get it?
  9. Yeah they have. It's quite easy to do. Later style ones with the running lights are a PITA to do as the inner section is smaller and you can't get access as well with long nose pliers and snips. I have the newer style indicators now as the diffuser pattern is much nicer and more crisp. I just can't get the orange diffuser out as space inside is very limited. I prefer these than the crystal corners which I don't find suit the pattern of the fog light lenses.
  10. ALL JDM cars had side lights in the inner lenses. So did UK specs, except UK specs did not have front fog lights. The corner indicators are blanks. The indicators are sighted in the inner lights and use a completely different unit to the US and JDM cars. JDM and US cars share the same fog light lens, but the base is different (which you can't see) which accepts a side light fitment (JDM) Excluding 99-spec front bumper (which use the same fog light apperture only). There are a number of types of OEM fitment bumper indicators. UK had blank smoked corner markers. 2 types of Indicators for JDM models. JDM Style one (without running light) JDM Style two (with running light and different defuser patern....note larger running light section to other JDM style) USDM UKDM
  11. Because it's a 'Joseph'.
  12. I can still see it....unfortunately.
  13. Not really a bargain. It's a poorly modified Auto. Looking at it, IMO, it was worth far less. Only thing worth any money on that is the interior and possibly the engine. ALL bodypanels are ruined. It's a complete croque of shite. Engine....Worth £1k MAX Interior worth £500 Max Gearbox....£200. Leaves you minus £500 worth of boat/come 300zx dog that then needs scrapping.
  14. Sure it's cheesey, but doesn't bother me in the slightest. Better than what Cliff Richards did with 'The Lords Prayer'.
  15. I think I spent £1k on bits for my suspension rebuild. I bought the following : Tein S-tech KYB AGX Powertrix adjustable front tension rods Powertrix adjustable front camber arms Powertrix adjustable rear camber arms Various bits and bobs from MJP. I recently replaced all my tyres and I jumped up a size. 245fr and 275 rear. What width are your rear wheels?
  16. Yeah it does. The back not so much, although it is lower, but the front is nice. I am happy with the stance. Takes a few weeks for it all to settle properly. Make sure you get the adjustable tension rods and camber arms etc. It's stiffer than stock, but pretty smooth. You feel it more over rough road surfaces, but generally, it offeres a pretty forgiving ride. I've not really messed about with the shock settings and TBH, I'd probably like it a bit softer, but I can adjust that when I drive it next. I think I've done about 1,000 miles with the new suspension on. Did a nice long jaunt down to southern Normany in it and was quite happy with it. Much more sure footed and positive around the twisties. Much more chuckable. It's a good combination. I was originally going to go for Eibach, but the drop wasn't enough for me. H&R would be my ultimate spring, but those are special order only and cost about £500.
  17. I'm running S-tech with KYB AGX. I bought most of my stuff from the US though. DTA can do you the geometry stuff and shocks. I am sure he can get the S-tech too. MJP can get you the new gaskets/shock boots too.
  18. That's one thing I am thankful that I don't really get. I can't even remember the last time I had a nightmare. It's odd, because when I do sleep, I actually have dreams I can remember....although I can't remember any now, because the memory only lasts a few hours and fades. Why is that? I'm fascinated by sleep, psychology and all that stuff. I wish I'd studied it at uni.
  19. I don't know. I need to go and get it actually. It's an hour's drive away in my parents' garage where I store most of my junk.
  20. LOL, no, just bad day dreams about them! LOL
  21. I can do, but then, the battery base doesn't sit flush with the cover base. You have another plastic battery tray underneath.
  22. That's weird, I've never had a nightmare with Zopiclone. I've been on it for a year now. I've have some wicked dreams on them. Really weird ones. Never nightmares though. I used to have the odd nightmare before I took them, but very rarely. I don't get the sick feeling and TBH, the metallic taste that you usually expect from this product, well, I've gotten used to it.
