  1. Happy 14th birthday Murtle! :)
  2. Yeah I saw that last night and I thought 'wtf'?
  3. Probably a day's labour doing that, so I'd say £250 + paint and materials.
  4. Shame you can't really see them in the photos.
  5. Quad, then double then...a long way back, single. Best looking exhaust is the B&B exhaust, best sounding is the Veilside Evolution.
  6. As above, most issues with the Z are due to dodgy connections and poor wiring.
  7. Was this the same guy you paid £2 for a pair of headlights for?
  8. I remember the conversation! LOL After you told me about them, I hunted and hunted and came up with nothing.
  9. Shame they are vinyl. Almost going backward, even with tweed. Totally agree with Pete.
  10. Very nice, subtle drop would finish it off. I like the wheels and I love the black roof bars. Something mine is having done this year. IMHO, leave the mirrors as they are. I've seen black one on a Z, they look like they are pattern ones that have just been bolted on (not that they are available, but you get what I mean).
  11. Or even Scunthorpe.... lol It's bad anyway. But, on a plus side to it, I see a lot of my customers whos order books are actually getting bigger and instead of predicting negative growth are actually predicting growth over last year. There is still a lot of manufacturing in the UK, but the big multi-nationals get hit the hardest as they tend to be run by shareholders.
  12. I wouldn't pay that money for a car that hasn't had a propper colour change. Looks nice though, but that's mainly down to the colour. I'd leave the front bumper, rear camber and those silly metal plates on the rear bumper.
  13. But if you build a good VG you shouldn't need to change the HG and turbos. Almost a false economy IMO.
  14. I like them. Radron and Yassa have them on theirs and they look very very classy.
  15. There's no way a front numberplate ways 1kg?
  16. Agree totally. To add, it would be far better off being done in the summer too. :)
  17. You should be able to hear the ballasts when the engine is off.
  18. They've gone bust a few times!
  19. Pulsar was always a really fugly car. But this....eeeeooooooow! Baby sick! Built by Mynheer, creators of the world's most tasteless bodykits. Here are some photos of their other (foul) creations.
  20. I fitted new speakers last year, but I want something more meaty. Looking at getting some Alpine component speakers. Only question I have is, how much space is there behind the door? The depth of the speakers I am after is 59mm. Will the window clear this when wound down? I am NOT looking to build pods or anything. I want these to be hidden away nice and descretely. http://www.online-caraudio.co.uk/shop/speakers/alpine/alpine-spr-17s-446310.html Also, where do you guys hide their crossovers?
  21. Looks good mate. Set of 19" AMG wheels will finish it off. :)
  22. You put the rest of the wheels on it then. Must say, when I saw it today, I thought it was a very very tidy shell and the underside is fantastic! Thanks for the cuppa. :)
