Is this right? Changing insurers anyway next month, but notified my current insurer that I'd moved house. They now tell me I have to pay an admin charge of £15. Nothing to do with the premium. Is this right? Never encountered it before. Seems like daylight robbery.

Different tie rods wouldn't make an ounce of difference even if they were different. The SWB is slightly more manoeuvrable because its wheelbase is shorter and for no other reason. HICAS is no different in any model other than the system being changed from hydraulic to electronic. The system is not designed for low speeds and certainly won't be in operation at parking speeds. It doesn't work at slow speeds because it is NOT a parking aid, never has been and never will be.

Cheap cast wheels are junk. Would rather run stock UK wheels.

I've seen the bonnet and headlight panel and that's probably the ONLY aftermarket bonnet I've seen for the Z that looks good. ChrisC had one on his and it look fantastic. He's gone for another one now and it doesn't look half as nice.

Not that great. I've seen photos of that on piston heads and it looks shabby. Both sills have had patches welded on them and someones painted the lower halfs with underseal. Mind you, what do you expect for £1500!

With no solenoid connected, your turbos will be running unlimted boost.

Drive it, that's a cure. If they've been stood for a while, fluid drains out of the lifters and it takes time and pressure to pump them back to tolerance. An oil flush in many cases causes the problem to go. There are also a detergents (flushes) which you can use just before oil change. TBH, I don't trust flushes. Oil itself has a certain amount of detergents and with enough regular oil changes, you should hope to see the noise vanish completely.

Preludes and Z32s use a completely different system and are designed for different functions. You also would also have gained nothing from low speed maneuvers with Nissan's HICAS as it's purely a cornering/primitive form of stability aid. IIRC, it only works upwards of 60kph.

Yes it does make a difference. Less chance of DET, especilly if your boost is turned up!

I'd imagine that the 99ron fuel from Tesco may even be bought in v-power anyway.
