Stick with silver. Nice and clean. Who the hell wants their eyes drawn to stock calipers!? Keep em silver and they'll just blend in to nothingness. Whenever I see red, yellow, green or whatever colour calipers I think 'oh, he's painted his calipers' rather than 'oh, that looks clean and tidy'...as in having them silver.

Gary, think you'll find that the lightening pictured was not created as part of a weather system, but by the volcanic dust being spewed out at high pressure from the main vent.

My wheels are not white!?!? Orange will be revolting. Stock calipers are something you really don't want your eyes to be drawn to. Keep them clean. Silver/grey or black are what I'd do....even when I upgrade to large calipers, they'll be Tarox or something in a silver or grey. I've always said that 'keeping colours to a minimum' is what makes a car look easy on the eye. Same goes for engine bays. Nothing worse than ugly brightly coloured hoses. Black/chrome/silver is the way to go for an engine bay. As for the glowing bonnet badge....seriously tacky IMO.

Mesh is nasty hateful stuff. Personally would try to avoid using it at all cost. I have seen it done and it's not nice. It's the silver mesh that looks awful. Black plastic mesh, not so bad. But it's not something that's needed or is nice or a stock bumper. 99 bumper comes with some sort of black mesh grille in the middle of it which looks ok.

Much more flattering than the old ones. Nice. Still secretly hoping you'll refit the original bonnet though. A set of Kaminari skirts would match the front bumper I think. You thought about getting rid of the whiteboard on the front and going for something smaller?

There are much better products out there than Meguiars. It's pretty good though and one of the better main stream products.

I'm not talking modified or unmodified. A wiper is nicer than a bung until which time you would have done it properly. ;) Dave, Madmax has a 99 rear spoiler and no wiper and it looks pretty good. I quite like 'em without the rear wipers, but wouldn't remove mine.

Just don't do a rubber bung. If you're gonna remove it, do it properly. Remove everything, weld up the hole, light skim of filler and paint. Ford used to fit their poverty spec MK3 Fiestas with a rubber bung. The Popular and Popular Plus versions came sans-rear wiper and had a cheap-ass looking bung stuck on the back to plug the hole. Surely a wiper would be better than a rubber bung?

No, don't really need it (then again, I don't need my front wipers as they never get used), but would rather keep it than have redundant switch gear.

20" is too big. Will look like a rollerboot. As for offsets, it depends on what widths you go for. Many variables. Most common are 8.5 and 9.5 x 18. Ideal offsets for these are +18 and +35 respectively. Ignore standard offsets as those are for stock wheels and are irrelevant when upgrading.
