You have to pull it quite hard, it will pop out. I know it feels like you're going to snap the fascia into a million peices, but the clip will pop before the consol cracks.

That's the ones that don't look so great. They have a huge ungainly knuckle that stick up in the air.

Wipers are ugly. But there are things you can do to make them less noticeable. Having a flat wiper like that removes the hideous skeleton type frame of the old ones. Wipers should be used and not seen! haha! Which makes me wonder why people paint their wiper arms silver and get those revolting chrome blades. :hurl:
