  1. As I said, it's a powder coated finish only...which is more durable!!
  2. Can't see the photo, but the ONLY colour I'd do that style of wheel in is a shadow-chrome finish, it's almost like a gunmetal in some lights/on the edges. With the angles on the spokes and agressive look of the wheel, the shadow-chrome will look ubber cool IMO. Wouldn't do bronze. Looks dowdy. This is Shadow Chrome. It's a power coat finish.
  3. Get a custom section made up.
  4. Yup, I think this is the only rear bumper I've seen that I like 100%! It's really nice to see good styling products that SUIT the car. There is such a high amount of hideous styling add-ons for the Z it's untrue, so it's a breath of fresh air to see something developed that really does compliment the original lines of the car! I don't like the front end at all though, but the rear is perfect. I for one am very interested!
  5. Good photos Lawrence. It's weird seeing your Z with German plates on!
  6. I've also seen various peoples' definition of a 'good respray' for not much money and quite often, it's comical.
  7. Nope, you won't really notice boost on low blow turbos. The 1.7 DTis in the Vauxhall range feel as lifeless.
  8. Sorry to hear that Martin. If you need me to pull any strings in the US, I can try for you.
  9. I'd steer clear...for £600? You're likely to get overspray and quick/cheap prep work. You're looking at £250 at least for materials, which leaves £350 labour. It's a day at least to prep for a blow over, if you're going to do a reasonable job, you need to take exterior trim off. A day to paint and a day to finish, then maybe some more time to refit stuff. So that's about £100 a day labour....most good bodyshops charge at least £250 a day labour.
  10. That does look very good! Damn, their front bumper is soooooooo damn fugly though. They worked genius into the rear bumper though. :)
  11. Think Paul's suggestion was the best. Get the smooth lip spoiler from Zcentre.
  12. Totally agree. 5th Gear got really bad at a point. I mean really really bad.
  13. funniest thing I've heard this week.
  14. Or remove the lambo lights. :x:
  15. Your charge temp will be higher and as the air is hot, it's less dense, so less air to build boost with. Not really anything else to it. The hesitation that useless DVs introduce to the system could be amplified due to the heat maybe. But the above is what's really affecting you.
  16. I wouldn't redrill EVER. You'll end up having at least one bolt hole close or overlapping another. Look on the VW forums for a 5 stud conversion. Must be doable, just like with Vauxhalls.
  17. Not available in a non-turbo. It's probably the low pressure TDi that gives a staggering 75bhp.
  18. You're strange. LOL
  19. Why bother exceeding 200mph? Where are you going to really utilise that? It's far more enjoyable and usable to get the acceleration figures at their best. Far more usable. I find top-speeds a bit pointless as you never use them.
  20. Big difference in ET25 and ET35 mate!! As I said, he WON'T need spacers on the rear!!!!!!!!
  21. Rears won't need ANY spacing!
  22. Welcome to the forum. :)
  23. I know mate. I did send you an email a while ago and never heard anything back. :(
