My car list. What cars are on your list?
Blimey, I can't even remember...I'll try though. 1987 Vauxhall Belmont 1.3 (first car - fastest thing in the WORLD) 1991 Vauxhall Astra Belmont SRi 1990 Vauxhall Astra Convertible GTE - Awful car, just awful - worst scuttle shake I've ever experienced. Was a cool car to have at the age of 20 though. 1992 Citroen ZX 16v (ubber rare and hugely underrated) 1994 Vauxhall Astra Convertible 2.5 V6 (converted it myself from a 2.0 8v) 1991 Citroen BX TZD Turbo (Bought as a heap as a runabout) 1990 Vauxhall Cavalier GSi 2000 (awesome car this was) 1992 VW Golf Driver 1990 Vauxhall Senator - another cheap 2nd car 1990 Vauxhall Carlton - same deal as the Senator 1991 Nissan 300 ZX Twin Turbo CURRENT 2001 Vauxhall Astra 1.7TD - terrible car 2006 Vauxhall Astra Design 2007 Vauxhall Vectra 2007 Ford Mondeo Zetec-S 2008 Seat Leon TDi Sport 2010 VW Passat R-Line 2010 BMW 320i M-Sport 2013 VW Jetta TDi Sport CURRENT I've had some questionable cars in my time, but there is no way in hell I'd EVER admit to owning an Allegro or a Marina. Worst British cars in history! lol

For the over 40's.........
Some of that is relevant to the over 30s too! I had a happy and relatively privileged upbringing, but I can totally appreciate MOST of that! haha. I had a Commodore 64 though! Even though I went through the era of BBC Electron computers and no mobiles, I find it hard to comprehend a life without mobile PCs (smart phones) and all the technology that we now have around us.

Spot the difference...
I wouldn't have a problem driving it in the winter if it weren't for the salt. The saline spray off the roads in the winter is HIDEOUSLY corrosive, for that reason alone I chose not to take it out in winter time. In fact I wouldn't drive at all in the winter time as my main car gets trashed with stone chips and salt spray. It's only a year old so I have no concerns over its corrosion resistance as it is still under warranty. No matter how clean you think your car is, salt finds places you can't get to, even if you think your cat is well protected. Horrid horrid stuff it is.

Spot the difference...
I've seen enough rotten Z32s to put me off owning cars for life, let alone my own Z. Winter roads in the UK are awful, they completely destroy the underside of the cars, wreck wheels and damage paint. Why would I drive my car in conditions like that? I may as well pour acid all over it and kick stones at it. I don't even enjoy driving it (or any car) in the winter, the roads are all slimey and/or wet, so you can't even drive the Z at its potential. Reports of Z32s being written off during the winter months whether that be due to driver error or someone else driving into them go up 10 fold. It's an old car, with limited corrosion resistance and bodypanels that are becoming increasingly hard to buy. I drive my Z, a LOT, just don't want it destroyed unnecessarily. :)

18"s on the rear, 17"s on the front?
Haha no. He took it to Znationals one year and I had a go in it. Was kinda strange driving a RHD car in the US.

Any recommendations to an alternative arial.
Mine is from ebay, but I'd recommend getting the one that Russ suggested. You pop the the rear washer squirter out, but you'll need to enlarge the hole. Dremel is fine for doing that, don't touch the glass. You might need to trim the seal on the aerial so that it fits flush on the top trim of the rear screen. You'll also need to drop the rear part of the headlining a little so that you can feed the cable down through the rear quarter.

Yeah, they're junk. I've tried a few of them.

Ebay Exhaust Manifolds for twin turbo
I certainly wouldn't....I'd get some MSP manifolds and getting them ceramic coated seperately. Steer WELL CLEAR of stainless ones, however, if you're looking at ceramic coated ones, then I am sure you know that already.

Which ones are you looking at?

18"s on the rear, 17"s on the front?
17s - too small. 18 front and 19 rear would be the way I'd do it if I was to go that route.

My New Exhaust...
I have experienced most exhausts under the sun from rare ones to custom ones and (maybe being biased), strongly believe that the Veilside Evolution system is one of the very best, both in terms of sound as well as build quality. Only ubber rare systems like the ABFlug system and the B&B come in on par with it for sound and build quality. Those that have heard mine, or have experienced the Veilside system have always had very nice words to say about it. I was just lucky that mine came with one on my car. Strangely enough, when the importer I used said the one he'd gotten coming over from Japan for me all those years ago had this system on, I immediately started looking round for other systems. Reason? I saw their awful bodykits and thought it was going to be loud and obnoxious; I knew nothing of them as I'd never seen or heard one before. I quickly changed my mind however after seeing it, hearing it and having it on the car. I will never sell the system.

Mine was smooth when it came off the boat from Japan. I tried to like it, but I felt that the 2+2 really needed something on the trunk lid. 99-spec was the only spoiler that really stood out. I actually quite like the 94+ ones too, even the original if in good condition. Most aftermarket spoilers don't suit the Z at all. It is a shame stuff like the Central20 and M30Z spoilers were so hard to get hold of. In the UK, we end up getting lumbered with ungainly stuff that looks like it was taken from the fast and furious films rather than stuff that compliments it. I really wanted the M30Z spoiler and nearly bought one, except it was for a 2 seater and didn't fit that well. As a happy medium though, the 99-spec works really well. The day I picked it up from London from the importer's YEARS ago now. How it currently looks after just getting it out of the garage....maybe for the last time this year as we have arctic blasts due next week! :(

My New Exhaust...
I expect cats will help. I've never had any cabin intrusion. The best thing about this system is that it sounds quite vocal outside the car, yet inside it just doesn't sound obtrusive like many aftermarket exhausts. I get the 'you car sounds loud' comments', but inside the car, it never really does, which is ace. No droan what so ever! Great on long journeys which is what mine generally get used on.

Santa never brought me one of these...
You could have a nice TTZ AND a decent Jimmer engine build + some choice wheels. I know what I'd rather have.

Ops! I blame the newbie (spambot from Nigeria).- 21 year old female..............
Something tells me this isn't written by a 21 year old female. She writes with American phrases and spelling, yet mentions the NHS. I agree with most of it.- My New Exhaust...
Nice fit! They make a beautifully refined burble don't they. I have my cats still in place and there is absolutely no cabin intrusion. - 21 year old female..............
