  1. LEDs draw a MUCH smaller current than incandescent bulbs, therefore there's not enough current to correctly switch the relay which will subsequently flash fast as it acts as if as bulb has blown.
  2. Absolutely agree Mandy. It really makes me wonder sometimes. Taking bad photos really should have been something irradicated many years ago like polio! I mean, there's a screen you can look at which shows you the subject matter and you haven't got to wait 2 weeks for Truprint to send you back your photos and negatives! lol .....then there's the car washing thing. Quite why anyone wouldn't give their car a quick clean before taking photos of it for a for-sale advert is just beyond me. Would you buy a house that the estate agents had photos of this of?
  3. It is unlikely to be in Peterborough. ;)
  4. ....the whole advert has been lifted from the original! Apparently, the car is still in Peterborough. At least he's changed the number!
  5. I totally agree! I think it is probably in a pretty tatty state judging from the photos....which are awful quality. Why would you take such terrible photos and not even wash the car and leave the tyres flat when selling a vehicle? Gives a low-brow idea of how it's been looked after. Looks like the seller has used some of the original photos from Craig David's sale 2 years ago!! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?161676-SOLD-Genuine-1999-300ZX-for-sale-SOLD
  6. It's back up for sale! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/nissan-300zx-/251452078227?pt=UK_CarParts_Vehicles_Manuals_Litterature_ET&hash=item3a8bb63893 Looking in a bit unloved now, flat tyres, grubby and a nice scrape along the rear bumper - might be a bargain!
  7. Almost like midnight purple. I guess I like brickyard. But the other one which is actually owned by a friend of mine (Steven)...aka mclarenf1kid from 3ZC.... .... is now a horrible brown colour and sporting goofy offset wheels and a dreary front bumper. It used to be so nice, but he kept changing it to try and keep up with 'trends' and ruined it in the process. It once looked like this: Sticker-disease aside, it was a great looking car.
  8. Brickyard is quite nice, but the other is brown! Brown!?!?!?!? Blurgh! Terrible under UK skies IMO. I am not really much of a fan of it under sunny skies. If you want that sort of dark earthy colour, then how about a really deep burgundy colour. At least if you were driving under cloudy skies you'd not get branded 'the flying turd'. I think Brickyard looks a little brown-like under UK skies. Brown should NEVER be a consideration for an automotive colour. You might be better off with midnight purple?
  9. Should be 3 holes either side of the brakelight in the tailgate. Where those blue pads are should sit the white threaded blocks that you have at either corner. Also, do NOT over tighten as it wikk crack easily.
  10. If only I had the space!
  11. Please tell me you had the rust cut out rather than fibreglassed over though! :)
  12. Supras are not pants. I am not the biggest fan of them, I like them, but they don't really capture my imagination - you probably have the F&F films to thank for that and the dashboards are awful. Elises are good fun and reliable, but the only Lotus I'd have over the Z would be the Esprit V8. Capris are a classic and a good investment, but they are no sports car IMO. Not a fan of the look of the Meister GTR. My opinion of Skylines is as the Supra. But I do like the Skyline, but have never had a burning desire to own one. They are a bit 'obvious'. I like the Z is it's so much more of an unknown. They're rare and few know much about them and this always seems to be a conversation starter. 'A TVR'? Be a bit more specific. lol I toyed with the idea of a Cerbera. Bonkers performance and looks for not much money. Reliability on early models is questionable.
  13. Anthracite is nice, but again, needs to be gloss for definition and sharpness.
  14. Yeah and even a Porsche it doesn't look good. It certainly looks a lot less expensive than it would do otherwise. :)
  15. That Porsche looks grubby and unloved and like a blackboard on wheels. The dude was asking for an opinion. Matte black imo is very unflattering like the look steel wheels with no hub caps give to a car. I certainly wasn't the person that called it 'gay'! :p
  16. Matte black is not a good look for wheels. It gives the appearance of grubby lifeless wheels. I think matte black wheels are really unattractive and remind me of steel wheels on poverty-spec cars. A very unflattering look.
  17. Yup, 1.8 litres. Get the fully synthetic.
  18. 75/90 gear oil
  19. Bumper looks like some sort of obsolete creation from Zcentre. Get in touch with them, they'd likely be able to tell you. Never seen it before myself.
  20. I'd rather be tied to a chair and forced to listen to Barry Manilow tunes while having my tonsils removed with a rusty spoon.
  21. I am wondering whether it's astro-turf? Kinda looks like it a bit.
