  1. After experiencing your clutch, I too want this clutch! It is on my shopping list!
  2. Good stuff dude! Re: Blue glass - your best bet is probably from the US. Not sure a tailgate glass would travel too well, but door glass and targa glass should be relatively straight forward.
  3. I will add that it's so nice to see builds of this quality - it doesn't happen very often, hats off, a very fine creation! I have some work to do!!!!!!!!!! lol :) Agreed!
  4. Whilst I think the SWB can work without a spoiler, I'd put a twinz spoiler on it. Very subtle, but finishes the boot off IMO....possibly some TwinZ skirts to help balance the rear out, but TBH, it looks mighty fine as it is. :)
  5. My fuel tank has a few dents on it and I am looking for a dent-free / rust free replacement that I can get powdercoated.
  6. I'd always lacquer cellulose if I HAD to use cellulose. I personally hate the stuff. I am great at spraying with it and finishing, but it really is only ideal for small parts and minor repairs only. I know you're doing this to a budget, but I wouldn't use the stuff to paint a car. It's cheap and it will show after not very long as it has little in the way of UV stabilisers in it; it fades super quickly and goes cloudy.
  7. I'd do that with any callipers I'd buy regardless. Reconditioning is easy and seal kit costs are not that expensive.
  8. But when you factor in the cost of the nearly-new discs and pads that it has on them, it's actually a very good deal IMO. You're unlikely to get a 4 corner upgrade for anything less.
  9. .....and yes, they bolt straight on, no brackets, no nothing, discs and all.
  10. Serious money? Really? http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/262028934729
  11. JFI, 350z rear callipers won't fit unless you're up for doing some serious modifications to your rear bracket. If you want a complete brake upgrade, then the R33/R34 GTR Brembo brake upgrades is a good one for street use. I never liked the idea of having miss-matched callipers, this is why I went that route. The other good cost-effective upgrade would be the 370z Akebono setup. VERY worthwhile.
  12. Just driven back from Jim's, DAMN, it feels smooth! I think I need my front wheels rebalancing, but the smoothness is really noticeable. The car sounds different too as the resonance is different. Certainly a worthwhile upgrade!
  13. Having this fitted today! Been wanting this done today, been meaning to get this done for eons!!
  14. Shagging takes up that much of your time? :wack: ;)
  15. Why thank you Richard! See how things pan out! :)
  16. That's good that he's out doing the social thing. Fill his life with that and happiness and he'll be in a good mental place. :)
  17. Potentially I could consider this - however, timing is no good at the moment and couldn't commit until possibly the middle half of next year. I know that does you no good now, but should the situation be the same by then, I would be in a position to consider this.
  18. Sad news Trish. Sorry to hear, but be strong from him as it'll help massively. He sounds like a gent too.
  19. I have these. If you are ditching your solid bushings/adjustables, these are heaven! Best thing I did was get rid of ALL my solid bushings! Hateful things! :)
  20. Really? It's like Nissan gave up when they got to the steering wheel and just fitted something generic and dull. I don't dislike it, but it really is dreary and lifeless. They fitted a VERY similar wheel to the Nissan Vanette. It just leaves me rather bereft.... Similar design in the old P10 Primera too! Pretty sure that wheel found its way into some Micra models too.
  21. That's actually very nice - I find the stock wheel so utterly dull, but that really is very good.
  22. I'd rather walk!
  23. Bike racks / roof racks seem to be a styling option for some - I have absolutely no idea why having a bike on the roof of your car looks in any way 'cool or stylish'. Started off with the rat-rod scene and then, of course developed on to the VW scene, where they think this is cool!
