Sorry, what I meant to say was, no body does these bulbs any brighter than 13w.....so could I mod the holders to fit bulbs of a higher wattage? Scrap the idea of the transformer... BTW, can you guess that I know nothing about electrics? :rofl:

Please excuse the long thread title. Wanting to fit very high power bulbs for my high level brake light. Now I've got the perspex panel and the 6 (I think it's 6) bulbs behind that. Thing is, they are so faint. Been told they are 13w and high power bulbs could not be fitted. So what I was thinking, is there a way of fitting a small step up transformer inline to the input so I can run high power bulbs? Ta

Just read your thread pal. Sorry to hear this. It'll make you a stronger person, there will be the odd positive thing that comes out of it. That'll be your friends. You'll know who your mates are for sure and if they are good friends they will rally round you and support you in their best ways. As others have said, keep your mind active.
