welsh march meet
It's bores. Hence the oil in the inlet manifold. Take the oil filler cap off and it pulses oil vapour. I have a new engine now. A 43,000 kms engine. So fingers cross, this one should be decent. Thanks for the comments about the car. It still never gets driven in the rain/salt/grit....it's been sat in the garage for nearly a month now. So it should stay nice for a good few years yet.

If my engine wasn't in its current state, then I would consider it.

Oh, BTW, http://www.autobahnstormers.co.uk is the club that cater for the large RWD Opels and Vauxhalls.

opel monza
Lovely cars the Monzas. Available for a short period of times as the Vauxhall Royale. AFAIK, there was never an Elite model. Just a GSE and an E...which for all intents and purposes could have ment Elite. 3.0 12v engine, same as the early Senator and Carlton GSis (circa 180bhp). 24v lump drops straight in....and so does an LC engine. ;) Considered doing a project Monza if I could source an LC engine. This particular example I used to lust at at quite a few of the VBOA shows. Absolutely stunning as the benchmark for my ideas. I'm sure you'll agree, this is one of the nicests Monzas you've seen.

Mumbles is the other side of Swansea iirc. Quite a trek. Something I'd maybe consider in the summer.

Fitting a nice big bore exhaust??
I used to know a chap with an R33 'Richard Bell', who started up RB Motorsports, but I think the original name was RBX motorsport....Guildford...probably a different person.

RB Motorsports? That Richard Bell by any chance?

Car wash - big rear spoilers
I'd never ever take my zed to an automated car wash. Would sooner leave it covered in shit. The Astra on the other hand always gets taken through the car wash...and finished off by hand.

Geneva Motor Show
Is that first one a 599? Pretty ugly I'm afraid to say. That Porsche looks very nice though. :)

Toyo Proxes T1-R
Anyone running Bridgestone Potenzas?

Toyo Proxes T1-R
I've run on Proxies. Not bad at all. Pretty decent level of grip, but they wear out at quite an alarming rate.

Cayenne Porsche
The new one is ugly looking, but the first one looked nice (only the GSi). Rest are just shopping carts.
-
Cayenne Porsche
For an MPV, they are one of the best in their class. Do agree, the interior is pretty inspid looking. Still not something I'd want. But the GSi has 200bhp turbo charged engine and is quite tuneable.

Cayenne Porsche
Prefer the F150 Lightning. :) I actually prefer this little beast. GMC Typhoon....although they make a pickup version, called a Cyclone as well. 0-60 in under 5 seconds. It's a special 4.3 (I think) V6 with a turbo, autobox and 4x4. They made less than 5,000 in 92/93 ish Runs the 1/4 in high 13s (on a good day). Here is one launching:http://www.andyscomputer.net/aaci/typhoon.avi

Cayenne Porsche
The Cayenne Turbo S hits 60 in 4.8 seconds.

Cayenne Porsche
'Technically', neither are MPVs, they're both SUVs. Only MPV I'd ever have would either be a Zafira GSi or an Espace 3.0 V6 But really wouldn't want either unless the unfortunate happened.....
