I absolutely hate the Cyanne, it is without doubt the WORST looking Porsche since the 914. If it didn't have a Porsche badge on it, you could almost mistake its appearance to something from one of the Koreon manufacturers.

Could you not rub them down and spray them with matt black hammerite. I've seen those faided to chrome and it gives the car a very dated feel.

You won't when either the bottom end goes because of the timing or the car blows up. :( Buy a £50 car and get yours sorted. Seems like problem after problem. :(

Yes..ie, bend should be so that the lever leans towards you ever so slightly.

I think it wants chopping out. Rust killer doesn't do a huge amount unless it's a very very small chip that's gone rusty. Most of the stuff where the wing butts up to the inner wing will wax out as it only looks like tarnish.

Most Japanese ones go like that for some reason. The main base casting is alloy which just turns to oxide and the actual arm is made from Stainless steel and flakes off as opposed to the mild steel of the Eurobox cars. Mine all look like brand new along with all the rain gutters, so I'm kinda lucky. Could always go for a Renault Laguna or Vauxhall Vivaro(twin door) rear wiper.

New set of shells at 50k? Bottom ends are usually quite strong on these engines. I'd be wary about that one.

RESULT!! The 2 piece centre cap arrived. Taken only about 8 days from winning the bid in Japan (all done by wheelchoice) to getting delivered to my house. They actually arrived on Monday, but I've not been at home to receive them. Thumbs up to wheelchoice! Highly impressed!!!!!! Best place to buy sexy split rims are bargain prices.

Some nice bits on that, but the rear lights look bizarre and bonnet vent looks nasty. Nice wheels. He's spent all that money on the car but has left the orange indicators on the wings.... :wack:

What a mental weekend. Went out and got totally smashed with Glenn on Friday night. Chronically mad one that was. Today, had shit loads of help going to collect my new engine. So thanks to Lee (gixxar) for the engine and also Jason(yami) who came with me and who's also storing the engine and also (Craig)zx_tt...who not just helped but also handed over a nice set of shiney dial surrounds....for free! :dance: Top job lads appreciated everything!!! :bow: I am now totally knackered...time for bed!
