Sounds about right, I've just looked at the DVLA VED list and it does mention about rules being valid after a certain year of manufacture.

I was just about to ask about this. It's utter *****cks really. Why? Because I cover about 4,000 a year in my zed and I still pay more than Mondeo Man who does 100,000 a year....

Erm....agree. Wouldn't look right. Seen kiddies with Novas trying to fit bike cans to their cars.

I've never considered it and never will. Just a silly car park mod to impress young-uns like neons. Serves no pupose other than that. That blue one Kirbs has posted looks like it's been parked up with knackered suspension.

Right then, wanting to do some tests on the new engine before it goes in. Main one being a compression test. So want to rig up a flywheel, gearbox and starter motor. So, even a knackered gearbox will be ok. If anyone reasonably local to me has one I could borrow for a week, I'd be really grateful. Thanks
