Certainly isn't 5hit. Just because it's not rammed full of chavs, archade houses, piers, donkey rides and other such drivel. It's quiet, sand for miles in each direction, nice sand dunes. It's no paradise, but it's not bad for the Bristol Channel.

Christ the beach was empty today!!! I spotted about 20 people in a 2 mile radius on Berrow beach. Almost deserted.

Don't put the scarab bumper on! Doesn't match the car at all unless you're fitting side skirts, smoothing the swage line and modding the rear bumper, not to mention all the rolls of mesh you'd have to fit behind it.

If you're looking at going to that part of the world, then you're better off looking at New Zealand. They have a huge tradesman deficit that needs to be filled which is not really as present in Australia. Talk to the New Zealand high commission in London and they should be able to point you in the right direction. I think there are a few schemes in place which can assist people wanting to go there.

Seems there's an England match on on Saturday afternoon. Due to my complete lack of interest in football and the weather looking amazing, I'm going to head out onto the road and find a quiet beach. Wondering how quiet it really will be....it's a first match, so maybe it won't make a dent in the populous who want to enjoy the weather. Anyone else thinking about doing the same?

Big end shells and mains now ordered, heads currently being refaced and all the valves are being lapped in. So should get near perfect compression when I get the engine back.
