Considering putting an OE 90-93 spoiler back on my car
I'd sooner paint my Z brown.

Considering putting an OE 90-93 spoiler back on my car
You could leave the tint on the rear screen and take the rear 1/4 window ones out....I'm going to get a light tint on my rear screen once the tailgate's been repainted. :)

....certainly have the yank style. They are into that design of exhaust.

...nearly. Get rid of that black rear 1/4 looks totally out of place. You gonna replace the wing indicators with clear ones?

Considering putting an OE 90-93 spoiler back on my car
So I did. Tastes change I guess, might have something to do with the fact that I hadn't seen any really sweet zeds at the time, with the OE spoiler still left on. I'm still undecided. If I had any other colour, I'd probably go 99-spec route. But have seen so many nice US Zeds with them left on...

What would you suggest then? I don't think a 99-spec would suit mine...purely due to the colour. Series II spoilers are ok...but wouldn't fit one. I want to steer well clear of high level spoilers as only a small handful of cars suit these. I am not sure about the lip spoiler as it does not incorporate the 3rd brakelight and you loose the contour the lights give.

Did I??? Mmmm, sorry if I did. I don't remember that.

I want to buy a car to smash up.
Cheers Steve.

Merc CL500 - any good?
Have never driven a CL500...but for £15000, I'd be looking at getting the older...and slightly more exotic looking 500SL....

I'm afraid not Steve.

SWBs look better spoilerless, for that reason. The tailgate is small and not so long as the LWB. I will get the fibreglass copy from ZCentre...not sure on quality of these though. I did see Gio's who'd replaced the foam one with the new fibreglass one and it seemed to fit well.

Considering putting an OE 90-93 spoiler back on my car
Ok, so the tailgate on my car has been smoothed....and done badly. I'm very picky when it comes to bodywork, and if it's not perfect, I'll get it sorted. There are areas where you can see filler in the holes, the tailgate itself also has some small dents on it. Now, I've gotten bored of the tailgate looking so bare. I do like it, but keep seeing Zeds on the US forum with their OE 90-93 (series 1) spoilers still on...and I'm starting to like them again. 99-spec just wouldn't suit mine with it being pearl white and I've yet to make my mind up about the lip spoiler. I know most here hate the original spoiler. But I'm wanting to keep mine original looking really. Besides, I've always liked the original look of the Zed....afterall, it's one of the reasons I chose the car.

What do people think
White leather is a little...erm....'too much'. Cream is as bright as I'd go. I'm going for a light grey inners and charcoal outters on mine with light grey round the dash bottoms, door cards and console.

What do people think
I'd certainly not be going red leather....would look somewhat garish in a grey car. Daves_new_ZX is the only Z I've seen that's pulled off having a red leather interior.

Rear windscreen weather strip/seal
I have read that already!!!.........but it obviously went in one ear and out of the other!! Cheers Vijay. :)

Rear windscreen weather strip/seal
Going to get some paintwork done in a month or so's time, one of the list of jobs is to get the tailgate sorted out and re-painted. Now I want a factory finish (ie, not mask up to the seal), so will be removing the rear screen rubber seal....which has now turned horrible and brittle. So will be replacing that. What I want to know is, can this particular new seal be fitted without having to remove the screen> I've been told by a few people that it can if done correctly. Anyone away of this?

Fitted water pipes and new panels
Well since you and Joely are meeting up later. Maybe you two should take some pics of your motors. :)

300ZX article in this month's "Practical Classics" mag
I've always liked the look of the A610. Lovely looking car. But would never choose one over a 300ZX.

Guess My Bhp / Torque ??
Dude, he drives a TT not an NA.

Fitted water pipes and new panels
Should be on the top of the list of priorities...it'll get worse and cost more in the long run. ;) We need some updated pics of your car anyway. Not seen many pics of yours. :D

Fitted water pipes and new panels
Seconded. Certainly be sorting the rust before spending money on bling. Looks nice though.

ebay ffs
I like it. No better or worse than a Z covered in filler and fibreglass.

- What front camber adjustment arms are you guys using?
Might have something to do with the fact that a wheel bearing's given up the ghost on the Zed! LOL- Guess My Bhp / Torque ??
You guys are all guessing power at the wheels, not the fly...it would appear.... - What front camber adjustment arms are you guys using?
