Thanks Ali :) As for price I think it is fair as it needs a bit of attention on a sill and arch and some of the paintwork is tired, but yeah overall tidy little inmolested car!

Look at that silver/grey SWB custom widebody that sold a while ago, completely custom and probably the most expensive zed to sell in the past 10 years.

tastefully modified/improved upon cars I reckon will be worth more to the right buyer. It is not like there is demand for these to be concourse condition... It isn't a 240Z. Perhaps in 20 years but I think for now engine and subtle and tasteful mods are worthwhile to bring the look of the car out of the 90s. but I agree that fiberglass body etc would definitely reduce value pretty quickly, as does anything "drift inspired". keep it as is :)

So just to update this, today she went through the mot after finally getting. Around to sorting it!! She failed emissions first time but after some redex and a blast down the road they came down to passable levels! Pretty pleased. Will drive her back to London in the coming weeks and see what she is like

Yeah early spec plenum and didn't realise the ports are slightly different grrrr

Here's my attempt at a V12 conversion... bought some bling for the engine last year only to find that the plenum wasn't compatible so I had to get rid of it :( back to the barebones basic for now...

Wow that's a long time off the road. It started bidding very low and I think had gone up to around 1.5k before the auction was taken down... presumably he didn't think it was going to sell for a decent price

Pretty sure he same seller on eBay at least. Massive price though! Was only at a couple of grand before. It isn't going to fetch that much in my opinion

Hello all, Wondering if anyone had first had first hand experience of the differences of a TT zed with a lightened flywheel? Z1 have the exedy hyper twin carbon clutch and flywheel on sale which is apparently 90% lighter than stock or somethgin ridiculous. i have read that it is one of the best upgrades to transform the feel of the car and it will be able to transfer power much quicker due to inertia. I imagine revving more freely etc. After deciding not to buy a used exedy hyper twin for £250 due to a unknown history and condition the Z1 option is looking pretty good to be honest! The 2017 plan is as follows: - Install 99 spec bumper, spoiler and skirts. - Finish interior (rear seats to do and some more alcantara and maybe dash retrim test etc) - dual selin, intercoolers, and remap. - possibly clutch/flywheel based on above. regards,
