Spent 30 mins with a can of wd40 trying to get my ariel to fully extend, after a good dowsing and cleaning of the black crap that oozed out it now extends and retracts perfectly, another job off the list, painting scuttle panels and wiper arms tomorrow then its on the trim line on the bodywork got to replace the whole thing, not looking forward to being sat on the ground for 2 hours with a hairdryer to get the old one off.

Hi guys theres bridge work going on in the village in the morning so you can probably follow the usual sat nav route. Come off the motorway as usual at M62 J21 follow signs for rochdale , turn right at the lights following hollingworth lake signs, go up the hill, left at the gallows pub again following signs to the lake. When you reach the mini rdbt at the end of this road turn left down smithybridge road, go over the level crossing, to end of the road to the T junction. Turn right and come into littleborough from the other side. At the lights by the closed bridge works turn left towards todmorden and you are back on track. See you guys tomorrow 10am onwards

Quick update for tomorrow guys theres bridge work in the village at the viaduct and the road is closed at that point, so when you approach hollingworth lake instead of turning right at the mini roundabout towards the lake, turn left go down the hill, over the level crossing, up to the T junction and turn right. This will bring you into littleborough the opposite way to the viaduct. Then turn left at the lights towards todmorden as usual. See you all in the morning

When Jeff converted mine he issue a certificate to say it had been converted, what the KM reading was at the time of conversion and what the miles tally was once converted. I believe he marks the back of the speedo cluster with the conversion date too. Not a legal document but when selling the car on its evidence to the new owner its not been clocked. Again not that's its proof but as you know mileage is hard to prove on second hand cars of this age anyway.
