  1. Im making myself a set of custom boost jets to replace the welding nozzle tips that are currently secreted in Zebedee's pipework. Can anyone tell me what size the hole is in the nozzle, I think from memory its 1mm. Eventually i'm going to get rid of the jets all together but for now I want them to install using 2 jubilee clips to make it easier to troubleshoot them in future. Problem at the mo is the OD of the nozzle is about 1mm larger that the ID of the rubber tubing making it a faf to push in so i'm going to reduce the OD of the new jets to make installation a lot easier.
  2. Yep the tile system is great for touch screen devices but if you are running an old laptop with a slide pad like my sister is its a proper PITA, she's nearly thrown it through the window on more than one occasion.
  3. But does it have a proper start menu like windows 7 like they have been promissing ???
  4. Ive got a black and decker one used it for a few jobs without issue so far but then again its not done anything really heavy or prolonged. If you can afford one then dremel are the way
  5. What problems you got buddy. Of your car will make it to Lee Dent's place in Shrewsbury it's well worth the trip. You need someone who knows zed's really if it's got issues. A general service ie oil and filters can be done by s good local garage but an thing deeper I'd take it to a specialist
  6. The Tamiya 300zx RC model I have is 1:10 scale I believe.
  7. And it will be at night parked on a side road with no lighting fiddling round behind the kick panel with a torch like I was when mine blew and put the headlights on full beam while driving on the motorway, how popular was I on that drive home. a light up fuse would have been a god send.
  8. My Fault PFFT !!!! I just tagged you in to the picture set not my fault you picked a fight with some random plonker from New Zealand. It was rather funny though Si I love it when you bite. He did get a bit defensive though.
  9. I found the paint on it is rubbish so im going to strip it and airbrush it at some point. Going on my desk eventually
  10. We all missed you yesterday Lee I hope you get your car sorted quickly mate and its something simple.
  11. It looks like we are quite slow in the vids and compared to a lot of the cars we raced we probably were but in car I assure you it felt anything from slow. It was a great day.
  12. Just home too Pete have to say apart from the rain spoiling things a little I got pretty much the results I was aiming for. A sub 14 sec qtr mile and a respectable 135.7 mph flying kilometer. As is always the case I'm sure I could have done a bit better on the flyer top speed if I'd got into 5th a bit earlier I recon I could have just squeaked 140mph. One think I did learn is that from 135mph zebedee takes some stopping so a brake upgrade now on the shopping list. In all as pete says this event is loads of fun our zed's are never gonna win but we bring sex appeal to the whole proceedings. As far as the club stand was concerned TMogsy and Mondo along with a new member Ben flew the flat nicely and there was a lot of interest as usual in our cars .
  13. You have got it BAAAD Mr Parsons
  14. Powerzed at Bristol is your best shot buddy.
  15. Or send it to Phutumsch and he will convert it like mine two bright cree lights for reverse in the lower chambers and 2 fogs in the top with the lenses converted to red
  16. Yes I'm coming tomorrow , I'm sure we can find you some help pete
  17. Explains why the rear panel is covered in crap after even a short drive
  18. HA HA here we go again pssssssstch
  19. Just giving zebedee the once over before ten of the best I noticed a 1" split in the hose where the boost jets had been installed. Simple job cut the hose back and reinstall the jet and tighten jubilee clip. Job done fluids checked so I guess it's ready.
  20. I'd go with dark grey alacantra or perforated leather for the door cards etc with a contrasting piping
