  1. These ones: 18 inch Antera's. MMMMmmmmm!
  2. Very good advice, completely agree with Andy. Wireless is good when its handy and you need it ,but cable's are a lot better if the installation is permanent. There is a lot of overhead with wireless, especially as the signal degrades (error checking). You should use cable for your desktops. Dave
  3. That 300z compilation is the first video of a Zed drifting that I have seen. Has anyone got or seen any more? Dave
  4. have you seen how much people are bidding!! for a trip with a loon! 126 bids as well. Dave
  5. Sorry guys, didn't know till the last minute whether I'd be able to get there or not. Got lots going on at the moment. Same for next weekends cornwall meet. Hopefully will be there though. Dave

  7. I emailed him when he first put them on because he was claiming they were rare nismo and all that bull. He emailed back and changed his advert.

  9.     Respect! thats exactly the answer people should get for asking such brainless questions.
  10. Thats a coincidence, I watched the second one this weekend, and yeah noticed the Zed in the first one. Dave
  11. Yeah, agree with takemetothepub. I just think a lot of people have a try at anything external and bodywork orientated not realising how much work is involved and how much skill required to make it look good. I think good effort to this guy for having a go, even though its not particuarly well done. Dave
  12. its the lick from shine on you crazy diamond. You know: dum dum ding do!! ehem its hard to type notes!
  13. I don't like the stock rear lights on the Zed all that much, would like to see some more pics of these. (IMO!)

  16. how about conference jamming over the internet?!
  17. likewise! I'm turning it off now, gonna go do something constructive like playing guitar lol. Dave
  18. Yeah, completely agree with that. Although the Cisco was a lot harder I much preferred it as you learn the content and then have to solve the problems. The microsoft ones you just have to take in reams of info, very little problem solving. I made the mistake of going through the videos for the cisco CCNP stuff over the summer, which I really enjoyed. It was hard going back to the microsoft stuff afterwards. Just need to do the last exam for the MCSA. I was going to do a couple more and get the MCSE, but I'm just going to crack on with the CCNP I think, as my leaving date is sooner than I thought and I want to do Cisco specific work so I can carry on with the CCNP.
  19. Not amused with myself today, since february I've done nothing but work on getting qualified for when I leave the Marines. I've been working in networking for 4yrs or so , so decided I should get my CCNA and MCSA in preparation for civvie street. Hardly been out this year because I've been working so hard. Anyway I managed to do the full Cisco CCNA network academy in 3 and a half months which is my main interest. After that I was been doing the microsoft MCSA stuff, which I thought would be a good one to get before carrying on with the cisco CCNP. I've been working on the CCNP stuff over the summer, so had to go back to the MS stuff for the last exam which was today. I had a bit of motivation trouble going back to the Microsoft after being neck deep in Cisco and spent too much time on the forum ('s!) while revising and ended up having to cancel the exam today. The next available date at the college is two weeks time. Need to give myself a kick up the arse! Dave :xxx:
  20. Funky Si's new Zed came without a spoiler. I thought it looked good. I don't think I'd go to the trouble of putting a new one on. I don't really have a preference, its a nice change.
  21. All the best mate, hope it doesn't drag. Dave

You need to speak to Anna!
  23. Likewise, needs must I guess. Mines never seen anything other than an optimax or tesco 99ron , don't intend to introduce them anytime soon!
  24. Tcp/ip will default to these addresses anyhow(automatic private ip ) plus the workgroups are usually the same on all XP or win2k installations so it should work ok just plugging the computers together with a crossover cable and booting them up. You just need to enable file sharing by right clicking on the folder you want to share and clicking sharing and security - share this folder on the network. What was said above is fine, but as said fiddly for non tech user and not really necessary. ps - not putting your reply down steve, just got all this stuff in my head at the moment as I've been doing a lot of exams!
