Veilside style Rear bumper for sale
I have for sale one Veilside style rear bumper. Bought a while back off a member from here, but never touched. It is primed and is either a genuine Veilside or a copy, but it has no markings. It is definitely GRP though. When I bought it, it was thought to be genuine. Anyway, I need the garage space back so it needs a new home - preferably on a Zed. Looking to get £100 for it + postage/courier to where ever you live, unless you want to pick it up from Dorset! Pictures as below. It has got two tiny imperfections on each side, one is about half the size of a 5p coin and one is a small 1-2cm crack. Not sure where they came from. Any questions, please ask. Thanks.

Spare injectors
WANTED: A spare injector - standard ones. I have been advised that my 5th injector could be knackered/tired, or is creating my slight initial hesitation issues. Anyone got a spare one I can buy/borrow to test this out? Thanks in advance, Greg

Trim and vents covered in a carbon fibre wrap - easily removed. £25 + postage. Centre overhead light console, with bulbs, was working in the car. £15 + postage. Centre dash radio surround cubby thingy ( surely there is a proper name for this?). Good condition. Have put gauges in space in the Zed. £15 + postage. Engine cover in really good condition. £15 + postage. Steering wheel top trim piece in A1 condition. £10 + postage. Rear speaker stereo covers (LH + RH) in good condition. £10 + postage. Pair of Stereo brackets in ok condition - a tiny bit of rust that could clean off easily. £15 + postage. One long reach spark plug removal tool - brand new and unused. Apexi SAFC & AVCR in good condition. Both working but have removed from car. Come with all cabling and bits to connect/reinstall. I also labelled up each of the connections. Think I have the install manuals also. White illumination on blue background. Come fixed to a metal plate (by velcro) as were attached to the top of the radio surround (not the one above). £250 + postage. Two in one! LH & RH rear speaker trim pieces in excellent condition. Removed from my Zed as I fitted a rear strut brace. £25 + postage. Radio surround hidey hole trim piece in great condition. £10 + postage. All from my Zed - a '93 LWB TT. Any questions, please PM me. Postage will be RM parcel force or Hermes as these two tend to be the cheapest I find. Colllection also from Blandford Forum, Dorset, or I can deliver to the Reading/Basingstoke area or the Stockport area in a weeks time. Greg

Gaz coilovers
Selling my set of Gaz coilovers. I bought them off a member from here, fitted them to the Zed, but found them to be a bit too stiff/hard for me on general roads, even on the softest setting. They just need a good clean-up. Possibly also a refurb - I think, not sure as it is difficult to tell, one of the adjustment knobs on the passenger rear coilover turns but whether it actually does anything..difficult to tell.. So priced for someone who has a few minutes to put into them. Collection from Blandford Forum, or can drop off in m4 corridor after work one day. Can courier but these are not light but can find out cost. Any questions, please ask!

Dash lights not working again!
I remember the headache this gave me! Mind you I learnt how to dismantle the dash off by heart! I've still got that old steering wheel somewhere..

Has the Z32 300zx come of age?
So, I have always tried to own a car that is Japanese, rare, not a common blob and unusual. The Zed is comparable to the S15 Spec R I used to have - where people actually approach you and want to know "what it is" or to admire it. Recently outside a pub, there was my brother in law with his brand new SLK AMG and me in the Zed - and it was the Zed a group of older men wanted to look at and ask me about. This really annoyed my brother-in-law, but it shows that the Zed has "come of age" in my view!

Storms that hit southern England last night.
I spent an hour in the back garden watching the storm move northwards. There must have been a lightening strike every 2-3 seconds. Amazing!

My condololences to all British victims in Tunisia....
I think that these extremists don't get enough you know what. If they did they would be much happier and they would't be in a hurry to get killed and take innocent lives with them :(

Taking the old man for a drive..Verstappen Style!
That was cool.

Induction kit
I have a large K&N cone filter which seems ok. I've only cleaned it once with the K&N cleaning kit but no issues so far..

"Interesting" Rear end.......
The owner obviously likes Lamborghini Diablo's. But too do that to a Zed - hypocrite!

My Decking
I will mainly be decking today.. Keeping the missus happy has a higher priority than the Zed :)

Japfest Preparatons.
I am planning to pop up to Japfest but will be in the main car park. It will depend on how knackered I get driving around Thruxton on Friday as to whether I make it. Japfest normally requires an early start!

Anyone seen this........
I can't see much that could generate 390bhp. No dyno print out for a start. The only mods I can see are the exhaust, plus a few gauges and some metal piping. So maybe everything is enhanced via the ECU? Might have to phone up to find out! TBH the viper stripe belongs on one car only - and not on this Zed. That devalues it in my opinion.

Nice little car meet today
Where was this? BTW Your Zed's looking good!

powerzed
Another Dorset Zedder! Excellent!
-
anybody near Bournemouth going to japfest???
Possibly, but it will be a last minute thing if so - the DJCC are not going this year.. and it all depends on whether I get me wheels back in time.

Overfueling
I have been around all the garages in North Dorset, and not a single one has a strobe light for checking the timing! Think a trip to Bristol will be in order soon!

A Start To Getting The Zed Back
I have the same recaros in the same condition - how much are we talking to get them repaired back to decent condition ballpark wise? Actually its only the drivers side only - the passenger side is in A1 condition.

fast and furious 7
I saw it today for the second time, this time with my 7yr old son. Quote of the film from my son was "Daddy, they broke a Lamborghini!" Classic.

fast and furious 7
I thought it was quite comical - there were some good bits of dialog and some of the stunts were amazing. But it was a bit long and not so focused on the tuning scene as much as I would have liked - more on supercars really.

Just resubbed :)
Just noticed subscription had lapsed so resubbed. It's not for me, it's for my baby... (My Zed !!) She says "Arigato" BTW!

A business question...
I don't know if this applies, but if I was wanting to use a trimmer, I would like to see where the car would be stored (assuming it would take longer than a day) - as this would be my concern, rather than the quality of the work. I started a new business six months ago, and I knew I had to have premises straight away. There are cheap ways to do it. I started for three months in a small office in a barn conversion, now my company is in bigger premises, and expanding. Although I cannot definitely say its down to "appearing to be a professional" but I do think having a base away from home has helped. It gives customers confidence and shows you are there for a long haul. It may be worth applying to your local LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership) for a small business grant to cover the cost of premises for a while. There are lots of grants available for new and small businesses to help you get started. Definitely check your county council website and then go an meet them and have a chat - it is so worth it. Good luck anyhow! If you ever get near the South coast my drivers seat needs serious repair :)

Well this is interesting!
Its got a hint of Supra about it..and the last Supra was a good looking car. This is just not right.
