Hey guys this is aimed mainly at zedworld but how much ballpark would it be to have a supplied and fitted TT Engine into my shorty. Currently its a n/a but not sure if the cost of getting the engine right and how I want it will be more in the long run then a swap.

I got my zed n/a through footman james yesterday cost me 185 quid now bare in mind im in central London that was a fantastic quote. Its with royal sun alliance who bird works for.

Well went a picked up ades old zed today and got her home and for the first real drive of the car I loved it even though its on 5 cylinders atm it still felt like it could pull the tits out of most cars... Had very little pertrol in it and forgot my wallet so could not really take it far but loved it none the less. Now the long list of stuff that needs doing goes on.

yeah if your after a tt then spend the extra its so worth it. Unless your crazy and have loads of time and cash to rebuild one of these cars it say budget about 3-4k for a well cared for tt.

Well im 31 ha ha yeah bird the car is mot'd taxed etc and I would never drive without insurance. Im gonna go with royal sun alliance I mean bird works for them cant be that bad.... I couldent drive by association anyways as im only a named driver on my policy as its a BMW and the insurance for that was insane without having my dad as the main policy holder.

Hey guys and girls since there don't seem to be much in the way of meets in the London area I thought id arrange one. Someone in a different thread suggested the ACE CAFE and I for one love that place so im going to arrange a meet there for the middle of august then if all goes well try have it the second sat of each month there. Im just checking interest really and see who would like to come down and get to know each other and our zeds etc. I will let everyone know the time and date once ive spoken to ace café and ill get the ball rolling from there, Will be nice to meet you all as ive only met ade and that was to take his beloved zed away from him ;-)

weird mate I just double checked and they have all my correct info postcode is correct,its with royal sun alliance. I do have some restrictions The car has to be garaged from 10pm to 6am Not used for work garaged when not in use 1500 miles limited Not sure why it was so cheap mate but everything is correct. I only live 5 mins walk from work so I wont really use her just love the cars so much that I have to have one lol My bmw is the daily driver and the cobra is the track car so really shes just a toy and I think some insurance companies realise it wont be driven all day every day and only used rarely. Mainly to meet up with you horrible lot or at shows. She will have one or two big drives up to zedworld but other then that nothing. I dot know Vijay I went with one of the companies in the insurance bracket on the site here they asked for my membership number and that's what It came back as remember its classic car insurance not normal car insurance

ye that's fine and all that but I still need to get my car home and I wont drive illegal so I will need it insured

Yeah ive sent them an email as correct me if im wrong the old reg will prob be inactive now or is that bad info I have.?@ - - - Updated - - - Oh and they do require a reg you cant move on to payment unless you put in a valid reg number found a new problem though ades reg is displayed as a 2002 model car but the car is actually a 1989 how has that happened lol - - - Updated - - - I mean his private plate on comparison sites that is comes up as a 2002 is that a known issue with these sites.

Right guys anyone know what I would need to do regarding this. Brought ades car but its currently on a private plate which he is keeping. He has sent all the info off to the dvla for it to be changed but as of yet nothing is back. Now I need to arrange insurance for the 31st and got a great quote from footman james for 185 quid. Now they need the reg number so which bloody reg to I give them. The private one that I will be using for a few days or take a chance that the old reg is still active. Im really not sure on this type of stuff so any help here would be brilliant

speaking of wich rolandas you fancy bringing yours round when I get my zed wanna see if it brings up any faults regarding my cylinder problem

you able to sort engine faults seems a silly question but before I bring it all the way up there I need someone to look at a fault that im having ie running on 5 cylinders
