Well this weekend im staying off the beer so im going to spend a little time in the garage (working on the Zed that is!!) As all my external trim is showing signs of wear and showing chrome in areas I have decided to re paint them black. For the best process of this because some of you guys have already completed this task I was wondering what process you used yourself for best possible results. Did you use a primer and which? Which paint did you use? Thanks

Ok went to my car and gone to start it as its been stood for 2 week and all i get is a very rapid clicking noise from the starter motor, I have tried a charger pack to try and start it but to no luck. The battery I have is a 400amp it looks small for the tray so is this right or should i be looking at a bigger amp battery Thanks

On the Z Centre website there are vented front wings made of fibre glass do these replace your normal front wings or do they get fitted on to your wings

Got to agree I saw the one on ebay and it looked as though it had been made very cheaply out of old butter tubs no attention to detail at all

Got to agree Ebay is a nightmare for selling cars, i used to trade in second hand cars and had lots of people wasting time either not turning up, haggling on the price etc.... give it up in the end as it was costing a bit to advertise. Hope you do eventually sell the car and if he does come back to buy the car I would let him come and view again, take him for a test drive and then say its not for sale just to waste his time.

My car wouldnt start today just the clicking of starter motor, it did this on the last occasion last week but started up now it doesnt. Could it be the battery draining due to lack of use although the battery does look small for the size of car? Any help thanks

Was thinking of trying to do as much as possible myself, ive already taken off bumpers spoiler etc.. to save on time and also to see if there is any rust to which the car is solid. What else could be done to save on costs which i could complete myself.

As the above mentions, Im looking at some point in January/Feb to have my Zed sprayed and kit fitted but was wondering how much roughly would this cost and is there anyone in the northwest who will do a good enough job? The kit is Scareb front bumper-Vented front wings and rear zenon wide arch and bumper kit with lower tailgate spoiler. The colour I am after is white. I know there will be add ons etc... but a rough base on each would help me. Many thanks

Well I read in the paper today that the EU are trying to put in place that all cars in the UK to be completely standard ( as they came out of the factory) in order to pass an MOT, this includes wheels, exhausts and lights etc... any modifications whatsoever. This could effect over 28,000 enthusiasts/workers let alone us guys who go about our daily fix of modding. Wondering what are your views on this subject and could you see it being enforced?
