  1. All, After getting my Zed I will be looking at investing in the styling first and a kit which i really like is the Zenon wide kit which I saw on the Zcentre website, i also noticed one on ebay cheaper but would that be the same quality? should i be weary of ebay purchasing? I will also looking at removing my rear spoiler and getting a different style rear window hub and smoothed lip spoiler to give the car an overall subtle look. does anyone know of any decent kit fitters and sprayers within the northwest who have a high standard of work im looking at getting this done within the next 6 months instead of a year as I wouldnt mind it for next so called summer. If anyone has had a kit fitted and spray job done what is the rough cost for a full spray and kit fitted? looking at changing from silver to white. Apologise for the questions but do not want to be either paying over the odds for a crappy job
  2. Have to agree that engine bay makes my £500 Zed worth a million pounds, what a mess it is neglected.
  3. Hi Coolq What is the stuff you used and whats the average cost for this Cheers
  4. Cheers, Well I bought it off someone who needed the dough really, i did question the MOT as the persons mate did it, however after a 80 mile journey and a pre-mot from a reliable garage all concerns were quashed the car is sound( so far ). Dont get me wrong its not mint but for £500 its a bargain and I plan on converting it into a wide body zenon model by this time next year.
  5. Apologise Murt I have called you Murf in my post
  6. Have to agree they make the car stand out some what.
  7. Well I decided to splash out on my £500 zx with some rear lights and centre piece as mine was cracked and boyched up by the previous owner with superglue:huh: I tell you what though what a difference it makes, thanks to Markderby and Murf for supplying parts:clap:

  18. No Mark, ive been offered some deep dish 19"s but wont have them til end of August, so have them for sale if you know anyone. Yes the lights look well looking for centre piece now. just wondering though, do you still have the wheel bolts at all as i tried them on the car and it was a tight fit to tighten the bolts. John.
  19. Thanks Vodkashots will use photobucket instead of imgur cheers. john
  20. Well as in previous post im new to the forum and new to the 300zx, well sort of, i have had a slicktop a SWB manual and one like the above however they were what I sold on. I am now in receipt of this one which I paid £500 for with 12months MOT and want to keep to transform into a wide body model in white by this time next year. I have only had her for 2 week and had the car checked out at the garage who said they did a thorough inspection and would have passed it for an MOT which I was pleased, a few advisories though. Any help would be grateful especially what to look for mechanically wise as i only know the basics. John
  21. cheers scubanesh ihave i in the garage tomorrow for a thorough inspection, so hopefully not a lot needed.
  22. No way just looked at the link, now that is a bargain.:thumbup1:
  23. Thanks Redwine, he seemed pretty desperate for cash it was initally £750 but managed to wangle it down some but I hope that there is nothing major wrong, did not notice anything out of the ordinary on the 80 mile journey back though. - - - Updated - - - Thanks Richard yes a bargain so far but time will tell.
  24. As the person I bought it off said his mate did the MOT but upon inspecting closer I realised that the rear brake light had a fault it requires rear brake discs and the exhaust has a blow, either the car has given up in 10 days or its dodgy
  25. Well bought this for a nice £500.00 with MOT, Leather etc... although I do doubt the MOT as being genuine i still think its a bargain. I have had 4 previous 300zx ranging from slicktop, short wheelbase and a manual. I have decided to keep this one as I am going to hopefully by this time next year it will be even more than a car than already is.
