  1. Vodkashots I cant thanks you enough, much appreciated:thumbup1:
  2. Hi, Im in the process of preping my Zed for big and better things, ive already taken the spoiler off but was wondering how to remove both rear and front bumpers.
  3. Well its coming to the end of summer and I thought i might aswell start on the Zed if I want it to look good for next summer. If I do some of the easy work myself it will save on cost when it goes in the garage so I have made a start on removing the rear spoiler which was simple enough as i plan on installing a lower skin spoiler (which has just been ordered) . The usual rust where the brake light was but wondering what is best to use for cleaning the silicone used etc... do not mind if it damages paintwork as it will be re done. The next job will be to check for any rust behind the bumpers and check the sills then onto soundproofing anything else specific to look for?
  4. Best of luck Boldy,:thumbup1: and ill be looking at having a kit on my Zed next year and paint job, hopefully around March so send over details of average cost of paint job and kit fitting (wide arch)
  5. Dont forget pics and spec mate:biggrin:
  6. Could probably use it in Feb/Mar when we have that snow, it would clear my road!!
  7. No way dont break it, its a true craftmanship try to sell instead. Keep the Zed alive
  8. Got to admit would be nice owning one but it would not have that same exciting feel you get from a Zed. Zed are unique in every way and are becoming more and more rare as the years go on.
  9. Wow well done mate, looking at sound proofing my Zed later in the month, goy to make room in my garage first. What have you used in completing yours.
  10. My mate got a bottle of something from abroad and I noticed something was not right when the packaging was a coffin box:blink: We decided to have a BBQ and try the sauce out, now normally I can take quite hot food but after two mouthfulls I was in the fridge for milk quicker than a fat kid finding out theres a chocolate eclair at the side of him. Not to mention my mate kept eating and ended up with really bad ring sting and stomach ache that he got admitted to hospital!!!!!
  11. Cheers cyber will see what he can do. :thumbup1:
  12. Cheers Zulley Yes was thinking of an Audi white or a merc white also I'm going to do a bit of costing on the paint job, my mate works for a repair centre but won't let him use the garage for own work.
  13. Wow there was some rust and it looked really clean!! Doing a grand job well done, love the Zeds in white
  14. Massive improvement mate although I would have chosen to go for white wheels and not so much of the orange but yes a great improvement:thumbup1:
  15. Have to agree with phutumsch:laugh:
  16. But on a serious note as said previously i do hope you can manage not to sell and for me to break down all the hard work put in would devastate me so hopefully you wont have to go down this route but as times are difficult we sometimes have no option but to. ZX-TT must have been difficult taking apart all that work put in? Good luck with everything.
  17. No just a lot of people instead:laugh:
  18. Dont sell dont do it!!!!!! But on a serious note sad you have to sell one peron will be pleased when purchased. These cars are priceless
  19. Bloody Ebay, well informed Jeff
  20. Must admit though i saw it on a zed online and looked well, but now you have clarified this ill just remove my rear spoiler and have a smooth tip spoiler instead. Cheers Bolt
  21. Thanks Ifty always weiry buying off ebay but might go ahead and purchase, im aware that the fitting will be costly but worth it in the end. Thanks
  22. Ah ill take your advise and not go for the "bath tub" then, I was in two minds over this one as I had not seen many zeds with this. Appreciated thanks.
  23. Looking at sound proofing the Z so was wondering if anyone has looked at this and how they got on? What was the cost of this and where could I purchase proofing as I do see a lot on ebay Thanks
