Ive always used Toyota red forlife stuff with a Forte cooling conditioner on all my cars and touch wood ive never had a single problem with cooling systems.

I have exactly the same prob on my current engine which is still running fine, but im changing engines anyway, new one has forged internals and new heads so should be much better.

i can live with that and at the worst i can always go back to normal boring wings if need be. never know i i know a very good metal fabricator might just get him to make some.

Well been back down the bodyshop this morning, they are making good progress, The drivers sill is now all fixed, front bumper, wings & side skirts are in the middle of being test fitted and adjusted, and the rear lip spoiler is in place ready for blending

Put me down for one fella hows the best way to pay? cheers Craig

I was thinking smoked Perspex aswell instead of the other stuff we bought? Might take a trip down autoglass on Monday and see what acrylics they have. As for the exhaust I already have a nice set of super megafones going on and I'm sticking with original seats with a nice retrim very soon

Ive got the front bumper lights and the defuser plastic for the lenses but havent test fitted yet as we need to cut the front bumper to get it over the fmic then ill put them together chap. Im gonna tint mine as dark as poss within legal limits of course.

UPDATE: took some more pics today, lots done this week, arial and rear wiper welded up and filled, drivers side sill has been cut out and replaced, rear bumper removed and demon skirt has been started, and also front bumper off.

I know there not your cuppa tea Si but I actually quiet like em. cant wait to see how it turns out

Well shes finally in the shop looking very sorry for herself, So far weve stripped the rear end, lights, ariel,rear wiper going for the smooth look. also started working on the little dents and dings, removed all the windcreen trims and got me plasticote to refurb them. next is to cut out the drivers side sill at the rear as its full of rust and see what its like. heres whats being fitted AB Flug style front bumper 99spec silver/chrome headlights single slot centre panel viper front wings bomex side skirts demon rear bumper smoothed lip spoiler by the time the respray is complete the new engine and manual box should be ready to go in. Also sat at home ready is the new exhaust system and 19" Jade R alloys ill put more pics and updates as build progresses. Craig

Cool so should be ok to stick with standard turbos by the sounds of it, and get close to 400 that will do me nicely

cheers guys, TBH 400bhp would suit me nicely, i dont want to go stupid, im just thinking while im changing the engine i might aswell get everything done at once and save pulling it out again at a later date, The bottom end has forged internals so should be able to cope with alot more then what i want to put through it. Would you know what stock tubs are good for, as mine are in very good nick, if i could get 400 ponys with supporting mods then i wouldnt bother changing them tbh. cheers Craig

At the minute just stock injectors but I'm thinking of 550 injectors aswell just not sure if stock turbos with supporting mods will be good for 400+ bhp

Hey all cars in the bodyshop for respray and kit fit so while its there Ive been getting some work done on the new engine, BUT im not sure what turbos and manifolds to go for??? Id be quiet happy with 400-450bhp ive already got decat exhaust, Mines chipped ecu, HKS filter, Boost jets, and front mount intercooler. Any of the more experienced engine builders have any suggestions??? Thanks Craig

Its horrible, its like knowing what youve got for xmas as a kid but being told you cant have it for a month lol cant wait to get it back!! Ill post pics when i can
