yer water was running in and down the heater matrix hoses and was not helping with the overheating did get a lot of steam as well!! but I did put my overheating down to bad coolant/air in system and blocked pipes as well

hi dont make the same error as me and fit a tt one in an na as the diameter of core is thicker on tt

could it be that the heater matrix is bypassed and this is why its not getting hot ?mine was bypassed and the hose was linked out between the wipers just behind the engine causing steam because of the bodge job done
