True - Abu 'Hook ' Hamzar was an example that suggested we are the 'good guys'. We let him live in our coutry, preach hate against us and we gave him £400 a week from the social! Try moving to Bagdad and doing that there and you won't get far! But I'm sure the missiles Bush drops all over the place are just as deadly as the suicide bombers that attacked London. Plus he gets up to lots of really nasty things we don't hear about. I have mine with Houghtons insurance i dont know if they are still in traders forum. People on the forum have had mixed quotes i had a cracking deal (i wont tell you how much caus you,ll get upset) i know i am goin silver on top but they beat every insurance company i tried their no. is 01582 867763 ask for rob. Just recently a member had a bad experience with them where his value on the document was £6000 but after an accident the loss adjuster said only £3600, so to get over this i asked for an assured value document which is to be signed by myself and a mechanic Ryan at Ztech has agreed to sign this document for any member so that the sum you put on your car will be what you get. Anywhoo they are worth a try, my car is 1995 jap import twin turbo with mods and not garaged but has cat 1 immobiliser thatcham approved and there was no problem, postcode area does make a difference. dont forget as you get closer to buying one eg. homing in on age short wheel base or long wheel base (2+0 and 2+2) turbo and so on go to the insurance companies and get estimates some insurance will not even entertain the thought of jap import!! :cool:

I,ve had a metro do something similar to me but not with these consequences.... i was just takin a breeze round with the odd blip here and there next thing i come up behind a metro with three chavs in it. All of a sudden unknown to me the driver thinks he,s in the fookin street race world cup as you all know a stock zed i perfecly capable of goin round twists and turns at relativly low speeds up to about 60mph with ease but a poxy metro isnt so i guess i baited him slightly by stretchin her legs a bit when we approached a roundabout as i watched the metro tottally out of control at about 40mph with the kid in the back seat gettin flung around i thought these guys are willin to risk their lives to try and beat a car they have absolutely no chance of beating. At this point i did a round the roundabout u turn and fooked off thinkin what twats. Not more than 2 mins later guess who turns up, this poxy metro and the chavs so i just lanched the motor away and went home. I have read what has been posted by s.x.o.c and like was said before something is not quite right i would plead guilty to speedin but thats about all you,d get from me and if they gave me 5 years for speedin i would appeal. :confused:

The key to tinting yuor rear lights is as said proper light tint AND PATIENCE if you prime lights first with p2000 just to get adhesion dont go mad then put light coats on SLOWLY 10mins between coats and just stop at the tint depth you want. Dont worry too much about small streaks caus after 48hrs you can cut them out with the same p2000 paper and then tcut them JOBS A GOOD UN :hyper: ;)

Yep its all true for me and i see my old school mates and think god they look old.... then i look in the mirror... god i look old too!! I am not sure really as i am a plumber. I was worried about the fact my car was insured with Houghtons but i,m sure its worth a fone call

After having read the bad news on "insurance" and Leon not getting what was agreed i spoke to Houghtons insurance as i have the same policy. Rob at houghtons is sending out an agreed valuation paper which is to be signed by myself and a mechanic after which the price you give as what you would require should god forbid you write your car off will be what you get. I have also spoken to Ryan at Ztech who is happy to provide his signiture for this document. I know this does not help Leon but it may prevent this ever being an issue. Leon i have just made a call to houghton caus if this happened to me i would need to draw someones blood so i have asked what i need to give them for an assured value of my car there is no fookin way my car could be replaced for that amount although mine is a 1995 TT but i am with chaucer as well!!!
