Alloy refurb or new alloys??
They are indeed 2 peice split rims from Enkei. I had the exact same rims in 18" form. I had mine refurbed last year. This cost £300 in total including changing the centres from red to black. I liked them a lot but they broke later in the year! So I ended up buying a whole different set of rims. This cost £575 I think. Your ride is hard because of the Tein coilovers. 18" rims may possibly make the ride more harsh but you are unlikely to notice much difference. IMO. Go for some 18" new rims and stick those ones up for sale on driftworks. I reckon this route will cost less than just getting the current ones refurbed! HTH...

bee*r limiter
Leave him alone. It's not that chavvy. it actually does work! "The way in which it works differs from the factory rev limiter in that it is an ignition cut, as opposed to a fuel cut. The reason for this is because if an engine (particularly turbocharged) regularly hits a fuel-cut rev limit (such as in high performance driving, or particularly drifting) engine damage can arise due to the lean condition produced when the original ECU shuts off the fuel pump. The BEE*R rev-limiter allows fuel to pass into the engine still, limiting engine speed by disabling the ignition signal. The Bee*R rev limiter is fully adjustable in 500rpm increments, for safety reasons allowing only a lower rev-limit to be configured than standard. If you have spent a lot of money tuning your engine, or are running at high RPM’s for extended periods of time, it could be recommended to run a lower rev-limit to prolong engine life. Both Formula 1 and JGTC cars use ignition cutting rev limiters, so it is a fully race proven concept."

Enkei Wheels
I contacted the UK distributor for Enkei a couple of months ago as one of my rims cracked all on its own. I had the racing series rims but they said they couldn't help because they went out of production ages ago. I don't know if that helps at all...

Elctronic boost controller query
depends how you drive it but should last a few months! most important if you are upping the boost is to make sure you have a decent chip so you don't run it tooooo lean. this is a must!

Could look good, but you have some nice rims on it already. In my opinion you should spend your money on brakes and suspension...

A usefull tip! Cannot say from experience but I have heard that whiteline anti-roll bars are the preferred choice for nimble turn in and responsive feedback...

Another alloy wheel offset advice question
I'd go for the +35 option. Will be fine to clear stock calipers but if you have bigger brakes you may still need spacers...

ZED prices falling?
I couldn't agree more...

ZED prices falling?
Fair play. It sounds like you are more intelligent than a few people on here, so don't put yourself down! I actually know a couple of idiots who have bought 3 smart cars because they think they will go up in value! :wack: they have a fortwo, forfour and the little coupe thingy!

ZED prices falling?
If you are seriously thinking about the zed as an investment you are wrong. It's not opinion it is fact. You would be better off sticking your money in an ISA and benefit from some tax free growth that doesn't involve a cash injection every few months! lol Zed prices will not go up for a very very long time. I know this because of cars I have owned in the past. 30 year old mini clubman estates for example, still dropping in value now even if they are in good condition. People generally want newer cars and are not willing to take a risk with something older and more exotic. Plus everyone is jumping on the environmental bandwagon now so a 3L turbo charged car is going to become less and less popular. There's my two pence worth...
