  1. Feels like I've posted about a million threads in the last few days... Basically, just wondering what fuel people use in their Zed's, or what they find to be the best that they run on? I'd obviously run a Zed on superjuice rather than normal unleaded... Near me or my work, theres a Total garage (that do Excellium, 97 octane I think), a Tesco (that I think do Super 97 and a 99 one), and a BP (that do Ultimate). There is also a Shell in York (that does Optimax/V-Power/whatever) but I'm not near that one so often... Any tips or advice would be great! Cheers guys Alex
  2. yeah, I'm not doubting any of that, it's just that one of the things that needs doing is to do with the water and I'm a little worried that it might overheat or something on a long run. Longest I've had it out at the moment is about 45 minutes and when I came back it pissed all over the road...
  3. Nice, I did the same GTR track day for my 21st a couple of years back. Was an epic day out lol. Also managed to wangle a go on the rally bit (which is pretty much next door) - got to have a go in Tommi Makkinens old Evo 5 which was awesome :thumbup1: And of course, a belated happy birthday!
  4. Yeah, fair enough. I had heard that there might be a Zed place in Nottingham or somewhere but not too sure? I'm quite happy to take it down to Zedworld, its just the one thing that I want sorting sooner rather than later I dont want to potentially affect my drive on the way down (i.e. I dont want it to overhead or anything like that)...
  5. Pretty self explanatory... Have a few bits that need sorting on my Zed, been in touch with Jeff at Zedworld but thats about 2 and a half hours away from me. Does anyone know of a place closer to me? Within about an hours drive or so? I'm based just west of York. Thanks Alex
  6. not a fan either... although at least the engine bay looks nice!
  7. My last one for tonight... Anyone who likes Prog-rock... Pink Floyd, Rush, anything along those lines, HAS to check these out: rd8_eg5Ugd0
  8. Y&T are well before my time, I just happen to come across all these awesome bands that hardly anyone has heard of cos I'm ace like that lol  Bit like Priestess... fR6HQ7BDg3o Edit: if you dont like instrumental intros, fast forward to about 1 minute 25 seconds
  9. that sohodolls lead singer is HOT lol
  10. And some old school 80's stuff, complete with godawful hairdos and cheesey video to go with it! Y&T, awesome band. Never made it big though :( _W0iCAa361o
  11. My take on some american hillbilly country-ish stuff... yQvdUpMm4dw
  12. Are pics and specs meant to go in a seperate thread section?
  13. CrashCourse - probably not all that much to be honest. Might redo the wheels so they are silver (or maybe gold with polished lip, unsure), will probably change the rear exhaust boxes so its a quad exit (like the stock, or Mongoose systems), will get all the interior gauges and everything working ok and then that'll probably be about it. Unfortunately I dont have an unlimited budget so cant really do all that much, lol
  14. NB - sorry about the size of the pictures. Mods please feel free to resize or remove some of them if you wish. Specs: 1993 Jap Import LWB Manual Twin Turbo Originally grey, wrapped in matt black. Bonnet, vented nose cone, roof bars and fuel filler cap wrapped in carbon fibre Rear fogs integrated into rear light clusters Clear side indicators 19" Mania wheels (not sure of the model - can anyone help?) and decent tyres Eibach springs Looks like its had recent brake discs, and calipers have been painted red HPI air filter HKS dump valves Massive Bosch battery Japspeed stainless exhaust (catback I believe) Greddy Turbo Timer Momo steering wheel Aftermarket stainless gear knob (not sure of make) Gauge pods on drivers side column, boost, water temperature and something else (maybe oil pressure?) Kenwood head unit with aux input and Kenwood front speakers
  15. This version is a bit lame, but hey, I'll get involved! XzxmV_goqgE
  16. I wonder what width the rear wheels and tyres would need to be to fit in those arches... 475?
  17. Welcome along and have fun with your new project!
