I guess its not so much how much you pay, but what service you get from the network as well. I pay £40 with Voda, but never have any problems with Signal pretty much regardless where I am, customer service I have always found to be good. Used to be with Orange a number of years back and had nothing but problems. I'd rather pay a bit more for said phone contract and get decent service than get something cheaper that turns out to be crap

I pay £40 a month to Vodafone... I know that sounds like a lot, buts its only a 12 month contract not a 24 month... I have a Samsung galaxy s 2 with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 1gb data... got the phone for free as well

Yeah I'm pretty sure it goes from -14 to +14 on the boost gauge Here's the cheapo boost gauges I was on about that I'd seen on ebay. ok cheers. Should I be worried that my boost guage is running in negative numbers? Does that mean its not wired up properly? I'm also guessing its best to stay away from the manual boost guages that you can get off ebay for about 20 quid?

ahh fair enough. Cant say I've driven one for an extended period of time but seemed decent enough for an MPV. Pretty quick but can still flop about in the corners cos of its height and size

One of my previous cars was called Maude! I was trying to think of names that began with N (as in Nissan lol) but the only one I could think that sounded really old was Norbert... I think I'd rather have a womans name for my car lol

As per the title, I need a silly or amusing name for my Zed. I normally go for something that rhymes or alliterates, but not too bothered as long as it sounds good. Old woman names are normally half decent. I've had a brain dead weekend so has anyone got any good suggestions? Cheers :D Alex

In that case, should I be slightly concerned that the Boost gauge in my car appears to always be in Negative numbers?!?! Do boost jets work on the basis that when you want increased boost, you push a button and it runs for a certain amount of time? Or do they just run all the time? Thanks

so what would be the optimum boost setting? Is there such a way of setting too much boost that it would cause problems with your engine? I'm guessing that there's a standard "low medium and high" boost settings - my car has a boost guage fitted but no boost controller or boost jets... so I've never really paid that much attention to it. On another note, I've seen manual boost controllers on ebay for about £20... guessing they arent very good for that price?

I've been wanting to know pretty much the same things to be honest... as a Turbo newbie :p How does boost actually work? Is it the more boost you are running, the less "lag" you get out of the Turbos and therefore the faster you can accellerate? Cheers
