  1. Refitted the bumper & lights. Side lights are nice & bright. Headlight inserts look great too!
  2. & the vibration problem could be the propshaft. I'll be at Lee's Saturday getting a one piece prop fitted.
  3. Welcome mate. Lee Dent would be the best guy to go to. Even if he is a few hours away it's best to go to someone who knows what they're doing.
  4. It was just a fuse so all working again now & front end almost reassembled, hopefully for the last time for a while.
  5. Thanks mate, gona pick one up this weekend.
  6. Thanks guys I do deserve them, a battery tester is my next purchase. It was that buzzing noise that threw me. I was there at 1:30 Bri, behind the gates, redoing all the wiring that I'd cut off again.
  7. Cars now running again. Thanks everyone for your advise! Headlights & sidelights still don't work, main beams come on instead of dipped, but I'm sure it's a fuse so will swap that later.
  8. Think I'll be going for 35 on the back & 20 on the front.
  9. Yep that's right, I had to pay a ridiculous price for it in halfords. Just got a dodgy one, they are going to replace it even though I've got no reciept so I can't complain.
  10. Everyone I spoke to. I blame you Andy you advised me to get this battery :tongue_smilie:
  11. Cars just been given a clean bill of health so turns out its the battery. Only had it for 7months & it's not holding a charge, taking it back to halfords but got no receipt so don't know if they'll change it.
  12. Cheers Ian, I got the pack of relays from Jeff as well. Will have a look tomorrow what's in there.
  13. After reading some of the posts on here I'm now sure it's the starter relay, where's best to look for a replacement?
  14. I know but new wheels weren't in my mind when I dropped her off.
  15. Thanks mate. Won't be ordering until the end of the week anyway.
  16. I forgot to mention mine is 25mm lower. So would et35 rub the arch?
  17. That's what I'm starting to think Ian. Does the wing have to be removed to get to it or just the arch liner?
  18. These are the wheels I'm looking at. Would 30 be ok for rears or 35?
  19. All the wiring I did has been cut off. When I try to start it there's a very loud buzzing from either the wing or footwell. The ignition comes on, when I turn the key again to start the engine all the dash lights go out & there's silence until I let go of the key & there's a faint click or 'tut' sound. But if I try to start it again straight away there's no buzzing noise. Hope that makes sense.
  20. I'm sure this has been asked many times before but What's the best offset for 18" wheels, 9.5 on the rear 8.5 on the front? Arches aren't rolled.
  21. Thanks guys, give me something to look into tonight. I've got an auto electrician coming round tomorrow. The only obvious thing I can see is a dodgy earth connection.
  22. Thanks mate, will check that later when I get home.
  23. Only the new headlights & soldered in new side light bulb holders. I did notice my aftermarket temp gauge stopped working the last day I drove it, not sure if that's something to do with it.
