Well as above been away for nearly four months in Kenya thanks to work, and came back to a half covered car due to wind and rust bubbles round my arches and the car had a full respray in February. Anyway got in touch with the body shop and they have agreed to sort it out free of charge, but the problem is i'll have to take her out of hibernation, get road tax and do the long drive to london ( not happy ):mad:. Anyway enough about me, whats been going on :biggrin:

Strange one put i've noticed a loud rattling noise coming from the front left of the car. only happens when engine have warmed up and hitting holes on the road. Its really doing my head in. any ideas? cheers

I always intended on going to Japfest this weekend, made sure I had the day off as well but as usual work pulled a fast ball and sent me away. Then got the call today saying I can get the weekend off went on tickets for troops and got two free tickets :biggrin:. So I guess I'll be there after all.

Well turned out that my thermostat was faulty, failed in the open position. So the new one went in then i bled the system. Heater works perfect and for some reason the jumpy temperature gauge works fine now, stays just around half.

Changed my thermostat and had an oil change today

I've had my Z for nearly a year now and it's always done this as soon as the engine warms up the oil gauge drops to zero and once in a while it will give a reading and die back to zero. I know for a fact that there is nothing wrong with the engine so it must be a fault unit. as far as i'm aware this is a common fault with the Z's due to age, well so i was told.

Was dragged to my wife's local church today :innocent:. last week off so i'll deffo be driving around whole week so keep an eye out :thumbup1:

put his number on an insurance comparison site that should keep him busy for a few days or even weeks. jus say you looking for your policy to start as soon as possible

Washed and polished mine today, she looked so clean couldn't bring myself to drive it. But will do tomorrow if the sun will be out again
