  3. I use super plus over here (100 octane) and my engine feels better for it. I do get it tax free though which helps. There is no way that I would pay £2.42 per litre, not even to try it. How much tax is the government going to take on that!

  6. Gents, Even though I re-subscribed a couple of days ago, I still don't have full access. I'm expecting and need to send PMs. I paid by PayPal which was from skydiveagc@hotmail.com. Can this be fixed please. :) Colin
  7. Even though I have re subscribed, I appear to have lost my PMs. Can this please be sorted. Many thanks Colin
  8. I think that DG probably did the right thing at the time. The main problem is that the police are powerless to deal with a lot of things nowadays because of the stupid burocrats. Opinions were asked for and Hun gave hers, so no need to keyboard ninja her to death about it. As for national service, that would be a laugh. I'm in the army and 23 years down the line, we are also unable to deal with a lot of problems and end up slaves to the human rights bill. Where a visit to the boxing ring or an hour beasting on the parade square used to do (when I started), we have to pussy foot around the torags in case we end up being accused of bullying or on the front page of the Sun!
  9. Just resubscribed via Pay Pal. Can you please update me. :D Ref from skydiveagc@hotmail.com Regards Colin
  10. Does anyone know of a site where I can get Braided Brake lines for a 96 Range Rover sport? My next door neighbour arrived at traffic lights the other day and couldn't stop! He sh1t himself. The current system runs the brake lines over his air suspension tanks which when the roads get a bit rough tend to damage his lines. I suggested braided lines and to re-route them away from the air tanks. Colin

The Army may still help him, if he asks. If his mental health problems are due to service, he should at least try. If he has tried, he should keep trying. Bug them till something is done.
  12. Steve, You were just saying the other day how long you had been without her. Now you have to wait some more, bummer. Good meeting you the other day and lights are perfik. Colin
  13. I had a similar problem and it was the prop shaft bearing. Once replaced, no problems. Do you notice it under hard acceleration? Colin
  14. You were heading Guildford to London, I the other way. Didn't spot you till quite late. This was on Sat about 1100. Nice looking Z.
  15. I'll third that. Damn good job to Steve (and the committee). Colin
  16. They are nice. Shame they don't have more, I would get one.
  17. Different for NA and TT. Not too sure if LWB and SWB make a difference. MJP sorted me out quickly.
  18. Queue, bannana panic buying! Think I'll buy a stash, freeze them then auction them off to the highest bidder. I will bend them first though to remind people of the good old days. LOL :nana2: :nana2: :nana2:
  19. You only need 1 warning triangle in Germany, you also need a 5 lt fuel can (full) if travelling on the Autobahn. Mike's right, they do tend to stop 'foreigners' and check and you will get an on the spot if you don't have the kit. Not as common as people think though. Recap - you need: First Aid Kit Warning Triangle 5 Lt fuel can (if on Autobahn) Corrected lighting. Insurance Green Card (probably already states on back of policy) Full veh docs (original, V5 & MOT) Lots of Beer tokens! Colin
  20. Rich, you put up a list of regional organiser, but what about us 'overseas' members. Only ask coz I know of a couple out here where top speed can be tested! Colin

    I'm on too now.
  22. Mine is Julius Blimp, a bar stool (apt) and a soft toy (also apt after I have been on the bar stool too long).
  23. Good starter bike Dave. Take it easy, even though it's a 600 it can still scare the pants off you. Enjoy :D Colin
  24. Mine stays up also. It didn't when the original stereo was in but does now that I have replaced it. Shouldn't be too much of a problem, never bothered me.
  25. It's not a scam, and you will receive a card, but you will not receive cheap fuel until a certain number of people sign up. It might take a while.
