  1. Don't forget if you change them the small piece of hose leading up to them will be brittle and split. I got mine from a Nissan dealership for about £12 each. Part number: 11823 30P01
  2. I got a spare one if you wanna come get it... Got mine from here... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PCV-VALVE-NISSAN-240Z-280Z-300ZX-DATSUN-510-620-710-1200-1600-2000-SRL-311-PCV-/310463107953?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item48490b1371 They sent me one extra.
  3. Right update.... Unplugging the coil pack on cylinder 4 does nothing. Injector is tapping away like normal. Swapped coil pack and the problem stays in the same place. Ptu is sending a signal (ground, 12v constant and 12v flash) and I've now fitted a new spark plug. What now? - - - Updated - - - Right update.... Unplugging the coil pack on cylinder 4 does nothing. 4. Is it Pink Floyd's private jet going to the dark side of the moon?

  6. Ok, crisis potentially over! Cylinder 4 isn't firing and I've narrowed it down to the spark plug. 6 new spark plugs on order. Hopefully that will cure things. Must remember not to lose all hope the moment something isn't perfect with the Zed next time.
  7. I'll buy it off you! :D
  8. Hard to tell, didn't have much time to look into it today. Not being a mechanic either slows me down some. Think there's a smell of unburnt fuel coming from the exhaust too which would lead me to think it's misfiring...
  9. Where was the seller from, Narnia?
  10. Text sent... Bad signal at home though so might take a while.
  11. Got it! never seen a mobile number start 06...!!
  12. Certainly more use than me! Where can I find you?
  13. Some smoke on idle, had it for a while. Assumed it was PCV valve related. Changed one recently but heard it can take a fair few miles to clear it. No noticeable loss in power and I don't think I have a boost leak as the gauge is staying steady. If you really wanna help I could come to you with it tomorrow. It's worth some beer tokens...
  14. Oh yeah...urrr anyone wanna throw some clues my way as to what might be up?
  15. Is it too late to submit one?
  16. What do you mean it fits your car? It starts you car too??
  17. Started sounding a little rough the last couple days and the exhaust has developed a nasty splutter. Had it sitting idle today with the bonnet up and there's a nasty knocking noise too. This is not good. http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4FM_Mcr4BR-IuxsP_tYvnQ/videos?view=0
  18. Maybe he just really wanted a private plate that actually said something but could only afford that. I got a feeling R4APE is cheap too. There's a car I see daily with H1TLA. - - - Updated - - - Maybe he just really wanted a private plate that actually said something but could only afford that. I got a feeling R4APE is cheap too. 19. Did you ever get to the bottom of this one? I got burning oil smoke out the driver side exhaust on idle at times. Replaced the PCV valve and have certainly done at leat 500 miles and it still does it from time to time.
