  1. But when you only have half inch in the first place, of course she would notice
  2. That's what I do with my trainers :)
  3. I'm just gauging interest just incase I decide to break my newly purchased silver TT auto (92) It doesn't have an engine in it! Most of the car is in extremely good condition. If I do break, I will be using a number of parts for my current project. The shell is completely rust free.
  4. Thanks for the kind (I think ) offer from you and Paul (nemesizx) but I've decided to get some concrete slabs down on my front lawn and stick it there for the moment until I decide what to do with it.Still unsure weather I should break it for the parts my UK zed needs, stick the needed parts it needs in from my UK zed or get an engine for it and get it running so I have a zed while the other zed is slowly sorted. Decisions, decisions, decisions
  5. Lol, zed number 8  I had originally thought about using it for the parts needed for my UK zed but after seeing how good the shell is I'm in second thoughts. Still have no idea where I'm going to put it though as my other half's old car is still on my drive waiting to be sold, my BMW is on my neighbours drive, other half's newest car is on the road and my UK zed is on my parents drive...... I'm officially out of space!!
  6. Can't remember what his name was.he said he's had it for ages but has done nothing with it and has never had it on the road since he bought it. It is extremely clean and rust free! Needs a new drivers door due to some thieving ****, new bumpers and spoiler, engine obviously  and just general tidying. The speedo reads around 55000 km which is ridiculously low. Should be an easy project, hoping to send it straight off for an engine and then hopefully off to bodymech to get it looking as mint as possible.
  7. Yeah mate, it was actually in elmsett.I was a bit dubious until I saw the condition of it but with a new engine and a few other parts it will be an absolute stunner!!
  8. Yet again I've done nothing today to my black UK zed but did buy a rust free silver Jap TT with no engine :huh:Anyone know where I can buy and have fitted an engine lol
  9. Good point but its as close as you'll get.I do prefer manual myself but also love the laid back laziness of an auto.
  10. After having both TT auto and manual they both have there up points.Auto is easy to drive but still fun (I even drive an auto day to day), where as the manual is just a completely different animal! It's a shame you can't get both in one like my BMW!
  11. Mmmm shiney!! If I could get my UK TT rebuild to ever look that nice I'd be surprised! Suppose I should start it really though
  12. Went looking for this zed today to see if I could buy it but it wasn't there anymore, got a feeling someone may be driving it like that
  13. If its just a black vinyl strip then go to your nearest sign fitter and they can cut and lay the vinyl for very little.

  15. Love the stillen lip, adds a bit more of an aggressive look to the car.
  16. I think you should go with your gut feeling mate, after all, its not what other people think that matters. Your car, your preference.
  17. Did you soldier on or solder on
  18. Actually.... Under the vinyl you will find a scrap car! It's my old zed. It has a bent chassis, rust rear arches etc. Really it is only good for a parts car which is what I sold it to the bloke as.
  19. Sad sight  Let me know where you saw it mate, might go and ask to buy it for parts for my zed.
  20. Snow joke  Such a cheesy joke pmsl
  21. Strange thing about this add is the interior pictures have all been taken at different times, in one it has a double din headunit, in another there is a single din with turbo timer underneath and then another with just a single din radio and an empty cubby hole. And as mentioned, the feedback is a real eye opener for any potential buyer!
  22. I've got the same wheels fitted to my uk project zed.
  23. I used to use my various previous zeds as everyday cars so my zeds saw the snow everyday it was here, sooooo much fun drifting all the way to work and back :)
  24. Loving this build thread! Your zed is going to be a proper stunner when it's finished. I know alot of people prefer the original rear lights but I personally love your skyline inspired ones!
