  1. Have you got round to fitting the subframe yet mate?
  2. I just sold a manual conversion to a fellow zedder for 350 delivered. I did see another for sale on here for slightly more, but no where near 1000 like the flea bay thieves are asking.
  3. No worries mate.
  4. I've got a good one available for £40 posted if your interested.
  5. i just checked their site and its £30 but only for up to 40kg, pretty sure the gearbox weighs more than that though
  6. i am trying to get a quote from paisley freight to deliver my manual gearbox and wondered if anyone knew what the actual weight was or if anyone else has used them before for the same thing. also any other courier options would be appreciated.
  7. i would personally say not to use the locking nuts provided if they are not centered. you can buy locking wobble nuts, so in my opinion they would be your best bet mate.
  8. we have have the discussion about wobble bolts many times before and although they are not the best option they are perfectly safe to use otherwiise they would be illegal to buy or sell. the vw/audi etc drivers have been using them for years and as of yet i have never heard of a situation where they have caused damage or been the reason of accidents etc. here is a link to some mate. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M12x1-25-Wobble-Nut-Variable-Nuts-Subaru-Nissan-5x112-5x114-x16-Nuts-/300763422582?_trksid=p3284.m263&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%26otn%3D21%26pmod%3D280909436303%26ps%3D54
  9. I thought that when the steering and the clocks both stopped that it was down to the convertor behind the clocks. as stated by everyone else though, don't know how true that is.
  10. I've just measured the exhaust and at the down pipe end And it measures 2" across. Does this mean its not really suitable for a TT?
  11. mark.... I'm not sure if its 2.5", I'll have to measure it. Does it need to be 2.5 minimum then? Taff..... Yeah its 1 piece from front to back (rear boxes might come off but not 100% sure on that). Was kind of tempted to replace my single exit system with this one as it had such a great sound and no one else is interested in buying it.
  12. Will the exhaust from my old manual n/a fit an auto tt?
  13. Do you work with computers by any chance mate? When the systems at work pack up, we turn them off and on again before trying anything else. Usually works after that. ( I hate computers!)
  14. I found a couple of random videos on youtube earlier in the week.... Found them hilarious but I'll leave it to you to watch and decide..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boB2UkwEHos&feature=youtube_gdata_player

  16. ahh a comedian hey..... when you say have you tried turning it off and on again, surely if it didn't start in the first place then i wouldn't need to turn it off........ lol :)

  23. Maybe they have eloped together :)
  24. Hopefully it won't be intermittent, with any luck it will be a one off! But only time will tell.
