Started the car this morning to find Hicas warning light remains lit, what symptoms does this refer too, could it be just the fluid level?

I have the same ones too but mine arent in quite as good condition bahhhh :cry: ...yet ;)

Throttle Position Sensor-its on the n/s front of the engine as you look from the front under the bonnet.

A Little Help Please!! How do you use a boost leak tester, Im not getting full boost until way up the rev range and even then its not really at max (stock gauge mind you). I presume you do more than remove the filter and MAF and just connect to intake pipe and pump away right? ;) thx guys :bow:

Not sure,does it run ok? If you do want to reconnect it, I can let you have a length of silicone hose to replace it (Ive just replaced all my boost hoses thats how I recognised your missing one straight away!).You can have it for free as long as you pay postage...its your call :)

Its a boost hose and I would guess its cut and capped because of a previous BOV installation??? Im running an auto hence I have no BOVs so cannot be sure.

I had a similar problem to yours,this is gonna be so easy for you to try too! Between engine and fan you will see 2 temp sensors,remove the connector on the one with the yellow cap and clean up the terminals at either end,refit and give her a run out! ;)

Temp sender terminals! Have you checked them out? I had similar problems to yours and it turned out to be verdigris on the 2 terminals, I gave them a clean then she was as sweet as a nut.

I have heard from ahem..dubious sources that the side repeater has a direct feed and thats how you bypass an immobilsed system. This could be true as Im thinking about it because of the need to use hazard lights in an emergency with ignition off...you think??

You are on windows 98 maybe? I used to get that script error a long time ago, I think I solved it with a Java update,go to windows update and get all the latest updates. As for the Pop Up it looksas though its installed onto your system heres a good tip...type the name of it and how stop into a google search,somewhere someone will have had the same problem on a forum and some nerd will have given the answer to the problem.

Was it well kitted with 'blitz' logo on the rear Chris?

Would guess temp sender too, I had similar symptoms and it was the temp sender at fault!

Ill be sure to call in at Snafu next time Im down town, hope I get to meet you then.

Saturday night parked outside Snafu in town centre. I asked the bouncer who owned the car, he said you had just left and gone into town dohh!! Mine were fitted when I bought the car, they swung the deal actually I think they look great!
