  5. sunday afternoon heading down dual carraigeway towards Beighton/Woodhouse, had a veilside logo in rear quarter glass. You wouldnt have spotted me though I was in my Yaris...I go to my daughters most sundays over in Hackenthorpe and always take the Zed except this one time..doh
  6. Short term, remove clips from the wheel arch liner, and remove hose from the bottom of the valve you see in there,it will be full of condensed water and drain off-problem solved until you decide to do the removal!

  10. forgive me if this is stupid...theres a switch on the back of the controller that you can set to either wastegate or solenoid, Its currently at solenoid is this correct?
  11. Ive had fitted a blitz dsbc controller, tried to set it up with the boost gauge but regardless what setting I used the boost would go to 1.2bar, read a few of the old posts around the forum and went to check if the stock solenoids were still connected...they were, pulled the plugs and went for a run, tried all 4 preset boost settings (i set to 40 50 60 70 for test purposes) but now the car wont boost above 0.5bar...any ideas guys???? thx u ;)
  12. sorry for the quick thread hijack! Can anyone supply a pic of the location of the stock boost solenoids-Im getting similar symptoms and suspect Im still hooked up to stock solenoids! Thx you ...back to the thread...ahemmm
  13. Bet you thought I was some chavvy guy out to impress :) The Starlet was my sons, I had a 2.5 Calibra when I got the Zed and couldnt afford to run both so did him a swap, I get all sorts of grief in that with lads in baseball caps wanting to race etc...I suppose it doesnt help that theres a big Kenwood sticker all over the back screen sigh! See you next week!
  14. Saw you wed too!!! Only this time you were down by the college,I waved like a looney but as I was in the OTHER car I dont think you noticed...Ill be in the Zed next tues so will look out for ya.
  15. Ive just had one fitted, although its not working correctly and madly overboosting, its not down to incorrect fitment but the actual controller head unit being damaged, I do have instructions that you can have and as mentioned before, youre more than welcome to take a look at mine if you want.Umm you did say yours was a SSBC controller didnt you...mine is a DSBC which I think is Dual Solenoid I hope you have the right one!
  16. Seen you this evening!! About 5.30pm today coming down Warren Vale although you wouldnt have seen me I was in my Starlet daily runabout.Ive started a course at Dearne Valley for a couple of evenings a week so may well spot ya again :)

  19. Well...Im saying red...it could have been Si's orange one, only saw it at from the other side of the carpark and I was pi55ed too! Looked very nice though I must admit.
  20. Had same problem and after cleaning Temp sender terminals up it solved it!
  21. your problem could well be the water temp/ecu sender connector plug(one with the yellow cap) give the terminals a good clean to remove any verdigis.Hope this works for ya.
  22. ermm oops sorry Brian :slap: 2badd@talktalk.net
